This guy is not someone who can succeed Imran Khan. He does not have the will power to resist pressure from army.
He is too naive to believe that PTI had any part in casuing the 9th May trouble. Is he forgetting how IK was arrested like a terrorist? Even a child can see that the arrest was planned to incite a violent reaction from PTI supporters.

Well said Asad Umar, the point about not talking to political forces which I have been advocating for years now. Political parties are a reality and if someone thinks that he/his party is the only political entity in the country, then there is something fundamentally wrong with that person or his strategy.
Even worse is that the person says that he would talk to FOUJ only and not the political forces, I mean WTF, this is where he loses the battle and will keep losing until the thinking goes democratic and political. Boot polish may help sometimes but then do no expect any change as the boots will kick you out any time they want.

What did IK need to talk to PDM? When he was ousted he built his voter base through jalsas and can now win many seats without talking to anyone. It was PDM who put numerous cases on him to try and stop his popularity.
He dissolved assemblies to go into elections yet it was PDM who broke all constitution laws and we are this stage.
There is absolutely no reason to talk to PDM since their only demand is for him to step aside or run away to another country. He will never do that.

Mate wake up. There is no democracy in Pakistan for decades. Behind the scenes army runs everything. Political engineering, overthrowing govts, blackmailing judges and politicians. IK have exposed them. Country has become a laughing stock and is in economic mess. For the first time establishment had to deal with person like IK who is not a yes sir person and they orchestrated his removal. He followed constitution by breaking assemblies and see what happened. He is facing over 150 frevilous cases and knows very well establishment is behind it so don't say he should talk to so called democratic forces. Establishments role in politics is a harsh and sick reality, for the first time they have been caught pants down. People have realised country has suffered for decades, due to establishment backing corrupt criminal Shareefs and Zardaris.

Anyone who tries to convince IK to step aside is essentially trying to fulfill Maryam Qatri's wish since she wants a 'level playing field' without IK.
I once thought Asad Umar may be the successor to IK but it has become apparent that he is a lost cause. What he is proposing is playing directly into the Sharifs hands.
