O bhai rehney do yaar ... im hardcore PTI supporter ... but this move should be appreciated ... NIght packages for whom????????? what was the purpose ??? They were making money by selling the future of our youth .... you may condemn N league for everything but this move must be appreciated ..
:) ... mobile phone packages kay zarye qom ki ikhlaqi tarbiat :) ... my Friend for things where there is no right use .. out right ban is good but with things that are made good or bad through their use ... ban is stupid... Y insult people who were Genuinely using it to save money on calls? and do you think that THIS move will stop those practices?? were they not there before the advent of Mobile phone packages?? Improve the generic ills of the society and these practices will go ... and btw who am i to JUDGE someone how he is using his MOBILE package??? its an insult to sweepingly generalise people on something where the evidence is SUBJECTIVE.... particularly if it comes from government officials...
One thing i can agree with you is the WAY those packages were being marketed by those companies... These things can be controlled by Advertising / media watchdogs (PEMRA in our case ) or the government normally... they could have instead issued warning to the companies to stop marketting these packages the way they were doing it ...

Ok ... i can only give u my personal experience .. i have at least two cousins living in a different city after their marriage ... one is actually the ONLY child of my aunty and she waits for the package to kick in to have a conversation with her daughter ... their financial situation is not good as well ... One of our security guards uses the package to call his wife and children living in northern areas ( well in that case if you look at it .. PERSONALY it is actually good for ME that the package was off :) but i cant be selfish here, although he turns up an hour or two earlier for his duty to talk to them first before starting his shift ) ..... and YES there are misuses but just try and read the column again with an unbiased thinking.. you might get the message .. and by no means i am condoning the ILL practices ... but would you ban Motorbikes just because some SHODAY use them to impress girls?? or make a nusisense on roads by dangerous driving??
