when i was in Canada and I went there for some work. it is amazing place and very good location. so sad they sold out. hope this money won't go in thier pocket.

Its the prerogative of government to close any embassy or counselor office. It is government property and they can sell it if they like. It started in PTI government's time and this government has kept the decision, which only means one thing that the office is a burden on govt exchequer and is not required.

Most of the retired phojis were settling in Canada and this consulate was getting some details about them and their properties. Khalai maklook do not like nosy bloody civilians snooping.
