Reason being that a lot of collective wisdom quotes of unknown origins have been attributed to Hazrat Ali. I will give you an example :

Traitors are not liked in any society. So when a speaker will come on TV in Pakistan, he will make up " Hazrat Ali nay Fermaya , Sab per bharoosa ker saktay ho lekin kabhee kissi Ghaddar per Bharosa na Kerna !"

Now you tell me , what is the Proof that Hazrat Ali ever said this? These type of "unauthentic quoting " is wide spread in Pakistan. If authentic then provide us a source?
Almost every idiom/quote in Pakistan/India Starts from " Hazrat Ali nay fermaya ……!

It should be the other way around. The onus /responsibility should be on the poster ( the man in the video ) to provide proof.
If I say ' Hazrat Ali nay fermaya jhoot mat bolo cha hay tumhay nuqsaaan hee kiyoun na uthana perhay ". Offcouse I just made it up, it is not true that he ever said this. I just made it up.


Scientific basis of my Argument : Even with the best of technology today i.e. Audio/video recording facilities , it is next to impossible to record so many narrations and link it to just one man. Back in those days when Hazrat Ali was alive, there was no such system to record narrations on such a high number. In India/Pakistan what the people are doing is that all the saying that have some level of wisdom, they link it to Hazrat Ali without any proof and nobody questions it because critical thinking is absent.
