انسان کو سوچتے ہوئے اتنی تکلیف ہوتی ہے کہ اگر کوئی مسافر حادثے کے بعد کچھ وقت کے لئے زندہ رہا ہو تو اس کو کتنی تکلیف پہنچی ہوئی ہوگی .اف نہ قابل بیان .الله معاف کرنے والا ہے .جتنی تکلیف ان افراد کو جائے حادثہ میں ہوئی ہوگی شاید یہی چند لمحات انکی بخشش کا سبب بن جائیں .ان چند دن ہم تو بس ایک پتلے کی طرح خاموش بیٹھے ،آنسو پر قابو کیے صبر والوں کی زبانوں سے خبریں سن رہے ہیں :(

شاید یہ تمام مسافر سونا تھے جنھیں کندن کرنے کو ایک آنج کی کثر تھی

شاید جس مقام پر ان کندن ارواح کو آویزاں ھونا تھا وھاں رتی ، ماشہ برابر
کھوٹ کی بھی گنجائش ںہ تھی

شاید ان میں کؤی ایک روح اتنی سعید تھی کہ باقی ارواح کو اس کے صدقے
يخش دینے کا ارادہ ھوا تو باقی ارواح کی کثافت جلا کر دھو ڈالی

شاید دولہا کا اکرام تھا کے باراتی بھی ساتھ ھوں جو جنت میں شریک محفل ھوں

شاید اور بوہت کچھ میں سے بوہت کچھ ھو

A very thought provoking article... challenging the way our society usually generalize things and get JUDGMENTAL about everything.

Once I saw a 5 year old child at SKMH, having bone cancer.... the nurses were changing his clothes. In due course, two of his bones were fractured. I am usually a very heartless person... but that day, I just ran away from that ward. I couldn't stand the cries of that poor child.... he was saying "o Allah, if I were to suffer such pain, why you created me then? what did I do wrong in my life? ... his words scratched my heart.... I ran away.... trying to seek refuge somewhere.... I looked up the sky in disbelief that night.... no.. mercy is not even up there....

After two or three months I guess, I happen to be part of the first rescue teams reaching earthquake affected areas in 2005. The first night, we camped in open.... we were having our Sehri... a great old Baba ji who was retired from Railways was sitting besides me.. and I said with a gasp.... Bara zulm ho gaya.... Baba ji just held my hand and said..... Beta, Allah ki zaat munsif hay, uski kisi sift main na insafi nhi....woh aik hi aag ko kisi k liye saza bana deta hay aur kisi k liye azmaish.... aur woh apnay pasandeeda logon per bhi azmaish daalta hay, aur iss say hi un ka ajar barha deta hay.... Rab diyaan gallaan, Rabb hi janay beta...

Next morning.... I cannot describe here that how I found many corpses... but there was one I remember... of a lady on whom the lantern tore down while she was in sajda while offering her prayers.... I remember that when I grasped her body to transfer on the stretcher, it was the most light and softest body.... none of her organs were stiffened. Believe me, she was still smelling good and even though we wore masks, we could still smell her fragrance of a mellow jasmine.

While we lifted her body on the stretcher, Baba ji looked and smiled at me and while we were carrying her, he said.... iss ko aakhir main rakhna gari main.... I noded... she never had to intermix with the rest of the corpses. She was someone special. Deserved a special treatment. Baba ji took off his shawl and laid it on her body to cover it.

That night.... we slept under a roof. There was an aftershock....everyone ran rampantly outside the room. Me and Baba ji were the last ones to move out of the room. I came out in open under the same sky, but this time with a smile. Yes, I saw my sanctuary and I came to believe that it does not matter how I get there.. it is the destiny I receive when I am there... it is the intent with which I take my journey and that defines me... not the pains and the pangs I received during my ascension.

At the same time a misery can be a chastisement for some and it can be a purgative for others. Allah ki batain, Allah hi Janay... main kya janoun?

یہاں حضرت ایوبؑ کو جزام ہو گیا، یہاں نوحؑ کی اولاد بگڑ گئی، لوطؑ کی بیوی نافرمان ہو گئی، عیسیٰؑ دار پر چڑھا دیئے گئے، محمدﷺ کو پتھر کھانے پڑے، فاقے کاٹنے پڑے، بیٹوں سے محروم رہے ۔۔۔۔ اور ہم یہاں لوگوں کی آخرت کو ماپنے لگے؟

بس سوچتے نہیں کہ یہ اسکی مرضی ہے، اسکا علم ہے، اسکی رضا ہے، اسی کی قدرت ہے۔ ہم کیا جانیں؟ کوئی جل کے مرا تھا یا مر کے جلا تھا؟ ہمیں کیا پتہ؟ کونسی تکلیف سزا تھی اور کونسی آزمائش، جو شائد اور قریب لے گئی ہو خالق کے۔۔۔۔ رب دیاں رب ہی جانے۔۔
