Whenever there is shakshiat parasti to this extent, history shows the real message is left behind and gets lost in books and only worship remains. This has happened to all major religions of the world and of our region. hindu, sikh, etc.

No wonder rasool allah, on his death bed, cursed the people who worshipped the messengers and forgot the real message and the mission of those messangers.

We see the same thing happening with desi muslims.
"ishq-e-rasool" kay naam pay maa bhen kee nangi gaalia and violence. Does this not tell us that the message and teachings have been left behind and shakhsiat parasti is all we care, because its an easy thing to do.
