اسلام اور پردہ کے احکام
احکام پردہ کے ضًن میں یہ بحث اکثر ہوتی ہے، کہ چہرہ کا پردہ جائز ہے یا نہیں۔ چہرہ، ہاتھ اور پاوٴں عورت کا ستر نہیں ہے، یعنی نماز میں ان اعضاء کا چھپانا ضروری نہیں ہے، جبکہ ایک عورت کا پردہ یہ ہے کہ وہ اجنبی مردوں کو نہ دیکھیں اور نہ ان کو کوئی دیکھے، لوگوں کی شیطانیت اور گندی نظروں سے عورت کا حتی الوسع اپنے آپ کو چھپانا ضروری ہے۔
جہاں تک اسلامی تعلیمات کے مطابق، عورت کا وجودہ فطرةً سراپا ستر ہے اور پردہ اس کی فطرت کی آواز ہے۔


المرأة عورة، فاذا خرجت استشرفھا الشیطان۔
(مشکوٰة ص:۲۶۹ بروایت ترمذی)
ترجمہ: عورت سراپا ستر ہے، پس جب وہ نکلتی ہے تو شیطان اس کی تاک جھانک کرتا ہے۔


حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے
عن أنس قال: قال رسول الله صلی الله علیہ وسلم: ما خیر للنساء؟ فلم ندر ما نقول فجاء علی رضی الله عنہ الٰی فاطمة رضی الله عنھا فاخبرھا بذٰلک، فقالت: فھلا قلت لہ خیرٌ لھنّ ان لا یرین الرجال ولا یرونھنّ۔ فرجع فأخبرہ بذٰلک، فقال لہ: من علّمک ھٰذا؟ قال: فاطمة! قال: انھا بضعة منّی۔


سعید بن المسیّب عن علیّ رضی الله عنہ انّہ قال لفاطمة: ما خیر للنساء؟ قالت: لا یرین الرجال ولا یرونھنّ، فذکر ذٰلک للنبی صلی الله علیہ وسلم فقال: انما فاطمة بضعة منی۔ (حلیة الاولیاء ج:۲ ص:۴۰، ۴۱)


ترجمہ: حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ علیہم سے فرمایا: بتاوٴ! عورت کے لئے سب سے بہتر کون سی چیز ہے؟ ہمیں اس سوال کا جواب نہ سوجھا۔ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ وہاں سے اُٹھ کر حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس گئے، ان سے اسی سوال کا ذکر کیا، حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا: آپ لوگوں نے یہ جواب کیوں نہ دیا کہ عورتوں کے لئے سب سے بہتر چیز یہ ہے کہ وہ اجنبی مردوں کو نہ دیکھیں اور نہ ان کو کوئی دیکھے، حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے واپس آکر یہ جواب آنحضرت صلی
اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نقل کیا۔
آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ جواب تمہیں کس نے بتایا؟ عرض کیا: فاطمہ نے! فرمایا: فاطمہ آخر میرے جگر کا ٹکڑا ہے ناں۔
حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کی یہ روایت اِمام ہیثمی
نے مجمع الزوائد (ج:۹ ص:۲۰۳) میں بھی مسندِ بزار کے حوالے سے نقل کی ہے۔
آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ارشاد ہے:
لعن الله الناظر والمنظور الیہ۔
ترجمہ: اللہ تعالیٰ کی لعنت دیکھنے والے پر بھی اور جس کی طرف دیکھا جائے اس پر بھی۔
عورتوں کا بغیر صحیح ضرورت کے گھر سے نکلنا، شرفِ نسوانیت کے منافی ہے، اور اگر انہیں گھر سے باہر قدم رکھنے کی ضرورت پیش ہی آئے تو حکم ہے کہ ان کا پورا بدن مستور ہو۔
پردے کا حکم اللہ تعالیٰ نے قرآنِ کریم میں دیا ہے، چنانچہ سورہٴ اَحزاب آیت:۳۳ میں خواتینِ اسلام کو حکم فرماتے ہیں:


وَقَرْنَ فِیْ بُیُوْتِکُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاھِلِیَّةِ الْأُوْلٰی۔ (الاحزاب:۳۳)


ترجمہ: اور قرار پکڑو اپنے گھروں میں، اور دِکھلاتی نہ پھرو جیسا کہ دِکھانا دستور تھا پہلے جہالت کے وقت میں۔
اللہ عزوجل نے عورتوں کو حکم دیا کہ گھروں میں ٹھہریں اور زمانہٴ جاہلیت کی طرح باہر نکل کر حسن و جمال کی نمائش کرتی نہ پھریں۔
عورتوں کا برہنہ سر، کھلے بندوں پھرنا اور کھلے بندوں بازاروں میں نکلنا صرف عیب ہی نہیں بلکہ گناہِ کبیرہ ہے۔​

There is absolutely no command in the Qur’an for women to conceal their faces (using Niqab). I might be missing something but I have not been able to find even a Hadith to that effect. A Hijabi, Niqabi woman has already committed SHIRK by obeying the clergy instead of Allah.
First, as a general rule, please look at verse 9:71 in the Qur’an.
9:71 Believing men and believing women are colleagues of one another. They enjoin virtue and forbid vice. Together, they help establish the Divinely prescribed Way of Life, and set up the Economic Order of Zakaat. This is how they obey God and His Messenger. These are the ones on whom God showers His grace of success. Certainly, God is Exalted in Power, Wise.
[The believing men and women, working together, do not deliver empty lectures. They enjoin virtue and forbid vice by personal example, knowing that the Qur’an is the Eternal Criterion of right and wrong. 2:185. ‘Good’ and ‘Evil’, ‘Right’ and ‘Wrong’ are not vague entities. The Qur’an clearly defines them in 2:177 and many other verses. In short, good is all that helps people and evil is all that hurts them]
IS HIJAB OK? THREE RULES FOR WOMEN'S DRESS CODE:
ONE: The BEST garment is that of nice, modest conduct (7:26).
TWO: Cover your chest in the presence of unrelated men (24:31).
THREE: Draw a shawl around your person when outdoors in public (33:59).

33:59 O Prophet! Tell your wives, your daughters, and women of the believers that they should draw their outer garment around their body (when in public). This is easy and proper, so that they may be recognized and not be bothered. God is Absolver of imperfections, Merciful.
Here God sets the other regulation for the dress code for women during the Prophet's life. This verse does not only address the wives of the Prophet, but also wives of the believers, and therefore, to all believing women.
