سینئر تجزیہ کار اطہر کاظمی نے اسد عمر کے سیاست کو خیر آباد کہنے کے اعلان پرردعمل دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ الیکشن کی تاریخ کا اعلان ہوتے ہی پی ٹی آئی کے خلاف کارروائی تیز ہوگئی ہیں۔

جی این این کے پروگرام "ویو پوائنٹ" میں خصوصی گفتگو کرتے ہوئے سینئر تجزیہ کار اطہر کاظمی نے کہا کہ سیاست سے کنارہ کشی اختیار کرنا اسد عمر کا ذاتی فیصلہ ہے، کچھ چیزیں ہیں جس کی جانب اشارہ کیا جارہا ہے کہ حالیہ دنوں میں دوبارہ کچھ گرفتاریاں ہوئیں، پی ٹی آئی نے کور کمیٹی کے اجلاس کے بعد ایک اعلامیہ بھی جاری کیا کہ جب سے الیکشن کی تاریخ کا اعلان ہوا ہے اس کے بعد پی ٹی آئی کے لوگوں کے خلاف کارروائیاں تیز ہوگئی ہیں۔

اطہر کاظمی نے مزید کہا کہ پی ٹی آئی نے بھی لیول پلیئنگ فیلڈ کے معاملے پر اپنے تحفظات کا اظہار کیا ہے، اسد عمر کے پارٹی میں رہنے یا نا رہنے سے کیا فرق پڑجائے گا؟ میرے خیال سے کوئی فرق نہیں پڑے گا، بس اتنا ضرور لگے گا کہ پاکستان کی سیاست میں اسد عمر جیسے پڑھے لکھے لوگ ہوں، ملکی سیاست آگے بڑھے۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اس موقع پر میں فواد چوہدری کے حوالے سے کہنا چاہوں گا کہ ان کے خلاف ایک مقدمے میں بڑی مضحکہ خیز دفعات شامل کی گئی ہیں، یہ ایسی دفعات ہیں جو آج سے 30 سے 40 سال پیچھے چلے جائیں تو بکری چوری اور بھینس چوری جیسے مقدمے تب بھی نظر آتے تھے۔

اطہر کاظمی نے کہا کہ ان چیزوں کو دیکھ کر ایسا لگتا ہے کہ ہماری سیاست آج بھی وہیں پھنسی ہوئی ہو، اور سیاست کی وجہ سے ہمارا ملک آج بھی وہیں پھنسا ہوا ہے جہاں آج سے 50 برس قبل پھنسا ہوا تھا، اگر ہم نے ملک کو آگے لے کر جانا ہے تو ہمیں پروگریسیو سیاست کرنی پڑے گی اور پروگریسیو سوچ رکھنے والوں کو سیاست میں لانا ہوگا۔
