اسٹیٹ بینک کے زرمبادلہ کے ذخائر میں مزید 600 ملین ڈالر کی کمی ہوگئی ہے جس کے بعد ذخائر خطرناک حد تک گر گئے ہیں۔تفصیلات کے مطابق اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کے زرمبادلہ کے ذخائر 600 ملین ڈالر کی کمی کے بعد 3 بلین ڈالر کی سطح پر آگئےہیں، یہ تاریخ کی کم ترین کے ساتھ ساتھ کسی بھی ملک کیلئے خطرناک سطح بھی قرار دی جاسکتی ہے۔

پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے جنرل سیکرٹری نے اس حوالے سے ردعمل دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس وقت ذخائر صرف 3 ہفتوں کی امپورٹس کو کور کرسکتے ہیں، یہ تاریخ میں کم ترین سطح ہے، یہاں تک کہ جب ایٹمی دھماکوں کے بعد پاکستان پر عالمی پابندیاں لگی ہوئی تھیں کیا تب بھی ذخائر امپورٹس کور کے اتنی کم ترین سطح پر آئے تھے؟ اس ملک کو تباہی کی طرف دھکیلا جارہا ہے۔
