How do you compare Musharraf's goverment with today's so called democratic government?
If you get to choose between these two who would you prefer?

Thanks for taking time to response!

Right after the elections and choosing the hypocrites (PML and PPP) back into the Gov. my guess at that time was that we "Pakistanis" are definetly going to miss Musharraf and bite our own hands till they bleed, regret the mistake that why did we kicked Musharraf out of his office.

I am sure that if Pakistani people are really free to choose the government of Pakistan then none of them will sit on these seats. Today we all know that our country is run not by us but the White House no matter its Musharraf or Zardari the only difference is one is completely illiterate morally and educationally and the other one was educated so he knew how to put his mingles in hideouts. And today it is better for our selves that do not keep asking the nation choose anyone of them but choose someone next who has some morale values who has some knowledge and not only knowledge you must see that knowledge in practice of his life. Someone who has self respect and dignity who can break this begging bowel of this nation and let us live with sovereignty and dignity. Who is not corrupt ethically who believe in Allah not on America. To day the BANI ISRAEL has become Feroon and we have become BANI ISRAEL. So we have to think for ourself because there is none who will think and do for us. So lets get together and exercise for the future of this country.

no doubt that democracy is better option, but if we have to compare present set up with Musharaf's set up,i would rather go for Musharaf bcause present set up is not a democracy i mean govt of the people,by the people and for the people.

Well I would say that none of the government present in the world is an ideal for their people at the moment. But still choice is all our's. If we get the option between Zardari and Musharraf, I would rather go for Musharraf. We can't just rely on the people we have selected, I mean its quite easy to understand that the person whom we have trusted and gave such a big post is a Human being not an angle.

We can't expect 100% out of that person as there is such a complicated system which involves certain aspect while decision making. At the end of day, Pakistani people must understand that if Musharraf had done many things right then we could stand side by side with him. There are no curruption charges on him otherwise do you even think that Zardari or Nawaz should not have gone for his impeachment. And after all that we must appreciate Musharraf's efforts that he didn't sit back at home, he is delivering his lectures around the world and in that too he is protecting the self image of Pakistan.

I would like to give a significant example here, During Musharraf's time when he started a military operation in some section of Northern Areas, everyone criticized him. Most of his opposition claimed they will stop this military action once they gain power. But the same people couldn't find anyother option now and has gone for military action on BIGGER SCALE as a result of waste of time. Because they wasted quite a lot of time on arguments rather than focusing on ground realities, which as a result terrorist elements got even more time to strength themselves up.

I wish Musharraf may come back and our nation give a new confidence to him. AMEEN!
