IMF or World bank are benefactors. They give you loans when you ask for it. They only want good governance so that their loans and interest can be returned as per agreed schedule. It is like with any bank loan. How can we demonise a benefactor. If Brazil refused to pay back the IMF money, they should be severely punished and auctioned, to recover the money.
