Unfortunately, after Tomato, Gas, & now Atta shortages, IK has proved himself an incompetent PM

Who brought Imran Khan to power? Who installed Hafeez Sheikh? Who installed Khusro Bakhtiar? Who installed Farogh Naseem? Where was Jehangir Tareen, when Imran Khan was opposing Musharraf?
Do you really think a Youthia has the IQ to answer these questions? They are just happy clowns

We can argue how big a mandate was given, and but that is not the point. The support to form a government comes from people, not from clutches of MQM, PML (Q), or XYZ, with few seats. Has PTI shown better performance then none of these blackmailers could have twisted its arm for their personal gains?

Hike in food prices, as well as shortages, has nothing to do with IMF, rather sheer incompetence. If they have anything to do with IMF then they would stay at a certain level - will not go up and down like a yoyo.

Don't mingle things up. If three LNG ships were cancelled by someone incompetence then don't try to relate that to past incompetent and corrupt governments. People were hoping a change - for the better (not the same or worse) !

Yes, food prices are linked to things like Petrol prices, Electricity cost, and in some cases dollar rate because some foods are either imported directly or dependent upon imports of machinery or technology or pesticides etc. So all in all these things like Rupee devaluation, increase gas and electricity prices, as well as the no subsidy conditions etc of IMF had to play a role in inflation. And so those people who aren't thinking rationally without giving it a thought that what devastation a $20 billion loan request from IMF could bring to the country are acting as a pressure building catalyst for the Blackmailer allies of this weak government.

I don't know what prompted the government to cancel the LNG deal, it could be because to save some foreign reserves or dollars knowing the economy wasn't doing great and that the existing reserves are sufficient(so why not save some money). All in all I think they might already know that it could be a risky decision but they would have still taken it considering it the right decision in order to save the precious reserves.

Little truth, but mostly hogwash.

Yes, devaluation of the dollar does play a role in prices but then they don't fluctuate.

You are giving the party-line answer but unfortunately, those are not the right answer. Just go on the street and talk to people and they will educate anyone who cares to listen or take Economics 101 so that you can understand the situation little better.

The problem is IK himself. You can change the team all you want but he's the culprit.

There should be a french style revolution where IK, JKT and every government official is hanged without mercy. Then Pakistan will prosper like France

So you are saying that only devaluation played it's role? Increased Oil Prices, Increased Electricity and Gas prices, Increased taxes, Increased import bill, and no subsidy didn't play any role in it? And don't you think a $20 billion request from IMF could devastate the situation if only $6 billion brought this much inflation and hue and cry?

As for talking to the people of the streets I have already told you the difference between rational thinkers and those who only think about their increased monthly expenditure(without thinking about the reasons of what caused it).
