Every lawyer who participated in yesterday's shameful, disgraceful, violent, barbaric, murderous, death and destructive rioting and terrorism must be banned from practicing law for life and those directly responsible for the deaths of three innocent patients, endangering lives of many and causing serious injuries to others must be charged for the murders of three innocent human beings, causing bodily harm to the hospital staff, visitors to the hospital and causing massive destruction to the assets and property of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology building and assets.
This kind of street gangsterism must never again be tolerated in the society and the offenders and killers of the innocent human beings tried for barbaric violence and terrorism in military courts and those found guilty publicly hanged. The Punjab Bar Council must be fined at least five billion rupees for its violent marauding gangsters and killers causing such an insult and shame to the Pakistan global image and compensating the families of the deceased and the Institue of Cardiology for the destruction of its assets.
I have no doubt in mind it was a politically organized street crime and gangsterism that was well planned in advance and hundreds of lawyers willing to participate in the violent rampage were informed of the date, time, location and violent tactics that were going to be used to cause horrendous death and destruction. The whole world watched live on their TV sets with utter horror, disgust and shame the barbaric aggression, violence, and terrorism against patients admitted into the hospital for medical treatment, lying on beds in the ICU units, hospital staff and visitors. It shamed every decent Pakistani living on this earth.
The culprits and their accomplices must be punished so severely that it should become a dreadful warning and lesson for the future generations of lawyers, doctors, teachers and people of other professions not to indulge in street violence, gangsterism, and terrorism against innocent citizens.
