I am surpised to find although there are only very few Pakistani banks outside Pakistan but they are open only between 9:30Am to 4:30PM.
On most of the occasions there addresses and phone numbers are not up-to-date.
Their competitiors, local banks are open for longer hours and even open on Saturdays. Majority of the people work during the scheduled hours of the Pakistani banks.
If the hours are reasonable then I will use a Pakistani bank for my payroll and money transfers to Pakistan. This way Pakistan can show our money as Foreign Currency.
How do we inform the Pakistani public about it (not the government only - I am pretty sure they are already aware of it)?
Pakistani banks can even have contracts with the local banks of the other countries so that we Pakistanis are not charged for a transaction fee when taking money out of ATM (bank machine), in the pertinent countries.
What do other people think? Any comments?
