Brother, use a little common sense. Do you think he knows where this 50 billions worth of gas is being stolen? Is the whole amount being stolen at one place? And he is deliberately not catching the culprit? You know very well that is not the case. The whole nation has been at it for decades. It is going to take time and it is a continuous process. Never going to stop. Plus Pakistan used to produce enough Natural Gas for its needs. But now we are importing and that is obviously going to cost more. PMLN govt. has left the company in a loss of 151 billion Rs. That is huge. Gas companies were never in loss. So i guess they have to raise the price due to import as well as to cover the losses. The rich and wealthy have to pay if they use more resources and if they are not willing to do that then use sensibly and hopefully fall in a lower slab.

Getting them to use logic is one of the hardest parts.. Seems like they have a brain fade..... Somehow it is PTI's fault .. very well knowing there is nothing in the kitty to take care of shit hole previous governments left .. on top we have to borrow to return the interest on loans .. In the current form we cannot payback interest .. let alone loans they have accumulated over the years ..

As for the OP, well, years of mismanagement and misrule have resulted in this mess. Yes, gas billing needs to be corrected, but it is largely because of financial mismanagement of the past governments, bordering on criminal.
