I'd like to know your sentiments on these observations of mine about things happening on the larger political horizons of our country :

1) Nawaz has finally asked the IHC to take up the Video scandal issue first, BEFORE his Panama verdict appeal!

This was unexpected after the SC verdict lately, referring the matter back to the High Court, provided original audio /video is presented..

Hence... A DELAY in Avenfield /Al-Azizia reference appeal sought by PMLN by "technical ways"

2) Khawaja Harris has already stated before the IHC that he'll wrap up his arguments in NOT LESSER than 3 MONTHS, before the appeal is even taken up in practical terms yet...

Mind you... I've rarely heard of arguments in "appeal cases" being heard for 3 months, since evidence can neither be added nor subtracted or reinvestigated!

Hence... a DELAY sought in Avenfield/Al-Azizia refences appeals again!

3) September 18 date of hearing the appeal has already been adjourned till particulars of the FIA investigation into the Judge audio /video scandal appear..

Hence... Another DELAY factor coming in..

4) Nasir Butt has refused to join in at the IHC in context with the Video scandal....

Hence... Another DELAY factor involved...

5) FIA has initiated a case against it's own officials for releasing the 3 arrested people in the video scandal, and it will take ages before this result comes in..

Hence... Another DELAY!

6) Zardari/Fariyal Talpur INDICTMENT which was due to be presented during last court hearing into the money laundering case was DELAYED over as simple and stupid reason as "photocopies of indictment/charge sheet not readied" for ALL accused..!!!

Hence.... Another DELAY factor involved...

And FINALLY:

WHY all these delays? After all one cannot hide the sun behind the fingers, so why trying to DELAY things if not based on ANY HOPES?

Oh course... The answer is self—replied:

We are waiting for the results of our man in the field... MAULANA!

It seems like the entire GRAND MASTERPLAN of PMLN/PPP revolves around 2 main components:

1) Delay the legal proceedings technically

2) Launch the devil in the form of their field Marshall Maulana Fazl, and await results of his Oct 27 RIOTS announcement...

This is their LAST hope and consolidated effort... To get rid of PMIK and this Govt, so that all these matters could be decided during a favorable political set-up, as they know they stand NO CHANCE at all during an honest and un-budging PM like Imran Khan who has refused any sorts of relief or compromises on corruption matters..

GOD BLESS PAKISTAN, but I have a feeling that one can't take the Maulana Oct 27 protest with lightness, since it's their absolute LAST consolidated battle for political survival of their corrupt dynasties ..

There's simply too much at stake for these corrupt quarters and their silent supporters within the "institutions and bureaucracies" , that anything could happen.

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that all these "technical delays" in the different references of PMLN/PPP, even in the prolonged NAB inquiries like into the Shahbaz Sharif and Saad Rafique matters are all parts of a "delaying strategy" based on some hopes of changes within the political set—up and the unseating of PMIK, one way or another.

They need him removed... And wouldn't fall short of ANY means to do so!

Bearing in mind the STAKE involved, I feel we cannot take the anticipated protest later this month lightly or with a grain of salt...

Especially not.. If there are institutional "vested interests" involved..

Maulana alone is no threat..
But if he's being supported/funded, then anything could happen..

The Govt by no way should allow these fanatics to hit the streets in the name of "democratic rights", since its the very democracy they've threatened with the "Battle Field" comments by Fazl today..

Yes.. We know WHAT the "battle" would be fought for..neither for inflation/business environment, nor for the election results of a party that achieved hardly 2 percent votes..!

In my personal opinion the JUI-F press conference of today alone is enough for legal action, since it touches the tunes of anarchy planned...

Inshallah.....This nation shall prevail.... But the stakes of ill - minded quarters are evident and peaking . So be wary...

You're right... But IK did peaceful protests and had the support of predominantly educated middle class which gathered peacefully within stadiums, D-Chowk, etc.

These people apparantly are planning to disturb the national TRANSPORT VEINS from Sindh/Balochistan leading in to Punjab/KPK/Islamabad..

And they have support from the Sindh Govt, as well as some level support in Balochistan.

Do not expect that Maulana will start marching out from KPK on GT Road!

Such extremist measures will necessitate harsh Governmental measures and will invoke anarchy..

Since they're fewer in numbers, they'll attack the weak points of national flow of goods, etc..

Anything extremist could be expected from these jahils, who are being fed and funded by those who have no means of political survival, else than national turmoil and chaos...

The following is my hypothesis or understanding:

You do have a point pertaining to these delaying antics of these criminals, trying their level best to hide behind technicalities which both these criminal ringleaders are master at. That being said, no doubt they can do this gimmickry at the lower courts level and at the most at the level of IHC, however no longer possible with this supreme court who will seal their fate. The only reason they are trying to prolong their cases is their last hope on Justice Faiez Isa, becoming CJ after the retirement of the 3 lordships viz the incumbent CJ, then Justice Mr. Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Mr. Justice Umar Ata Bandyal. But the direction in which the proceedings of the SJC are heading to, it seems quite unlikely that Justice Isa will survive. Secondly, as you are aware the government is planning to increase the superannuation age of the Lordships of the SC from the present 65 to 68. The chances are it will succeed in this amendment. How.....? this is Pakistan..... if Sadiq Sanjrani can survive then everything is possible in the land of the pure. If that happens then Justice Isa will be an automatic history, otherwise most probably the incumbent CJ by virtue of being there until 2022 will insure Qazi's unceremonious departure as he lied in front of the CJ in his chamber in a one on one meeting on SJC reference. Therefore, the crafted plans of the inmate of the Kot Lakhpat jail.... that before next election Justice Isa will be the CJ and he sure will give him a clean chit as was done by him in the Hudibia case will automatically go down the drain..... to somehow or other prolong his cases until the change in the guard in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. But what they say..... Man proposes God disposes! HE is the ULTIMATE decider.

Coming on to the role of the military establishment in getting these criminals off the hook.... times have changed... and that's never gonna happen now. Allah nay zindgi dee to aap bhi yahien hein aur mein bhi yahein houn, mayra grebaan aapka haath... open invitation my friend.

Coming on to the civil administration......! (raqim is kali angraiz nasl kaa boht senior paitii bhai hai) the orders have already been communicated to the provincial governments. The respective provincial Chief Secretaries have chalked out the plans with all the commissioners & IG's who have ordered the deputy commissioners to have control rooms in their jurisdictions and to closely coordinate with the RPO's and the DPO's, special branches and all the field intelligence units per the approved plans.

As far as molvi is concerned... famous adage... barking dogs seldom bite.

Though covertly PMLN & PPP both of them are behind him but you gotta understand these so called political parties can not support him overtly because of international players watching them. Mullah in the west is seen as a man having soft corner for the terrorist outfits operating in Pakistan but more so in the neighboring Afghanistan.
Since, Kot Lakhpat inmate and his stupid, arrogant daughter are already convicted and are out of the game that's why they are desperate. On the other hand, Mr. 10% his sister and his shemale son do not have any conviction thus far, and the same is true for Shehbaz, his son and other PMLN cronies. Therefore, they are not in favor and they do not want to be seen hand in hand with mullah by the western capitals.

As far as Sindh and Balochistan are concerned... logistics will be a big big problem. A fat wallet is needed to bring the people out from these 2 provinces. Just few dozen people in few buses means nothing. Boarding & Lodging and food expenditure...? money is the king. Mullah himself is a beggar (fuqra), so where is the money??
So in my books this is a zero sum game.

Mujhay nazar aa raha hai keh in logoun ki bari phainti lagni hai is martaba. Gen Bajwa is little different than Gen Raheel Shareef and Gen Kayani. His doctrine is different than his predecessors. Though Imran is his boss and senior in age, yet he respects and loves him like his own... you can call a brother, a child or whatever you wanna call it. He openly tells people...
