The temporal presence of Islam had disappeared altogether after WW1. Not a single Islamic territory remained sovereign with the exception of Turkey which had fought victoriously against the European powers to secure for itself the status of the nation-state. For, Islam entropy has been at work since the 14th Century but it was at the end of the 18th century(with Napolean Bonaparte’s expedition to Egypt that the Muslims began to become conscious of the danger that they were being overtaken by the west and the trend became infectious. It was this lateness, this lag, and this entropy of mind that allowed a number of countries belonging to Islamic territories to be colonized. Finally, the Muslim world was colonized by the European imperial powers, and they ate the big cake to their mouthful and bellyufil.
The Muslim individual, who claimed superiority over the western individual for over eleven centuries cannot grasp the process that has led the Muslims to such weakness. Nietzsche, “On the Genealogy of Morals”, himself thought that the Muslims(more precisely Arab) was someone who belonged to people who throughout the ages had created more in conformity with the aristocratic morality, the morality of affirmation-someone who illuminates, someone who gives without trying to receive. The situation of the person of resentment on the other hand is to be the position of the one who receives but does not have the means to give; the person of resentment cannot affirm. Thus the Muslim is no longer an individual of the “yes” that illuminates the world but and creates a naturally hegemonic being. The Muslim world has become a non-entity but to ridicule, humiliate, despise and exploit despite all the wealth and oil resources of the world under their feet. If it were not for Pakistan emerging as one of the most powerful military powers of the world both in nuclear and conventional weapons, the Muslim world would be living in a sorry state without any heritage to be proud of when the glorious ancient Islamic civilization ruled the world for nearly twelve hundred years.
