Lets see if Cheap Justise Faarigh Nisar takes sou moto?
There seems no benefit of sou moto in this case. That'd rather strengthen them and give them opportunity for spreading propaganda before time and create another issue for the government. Opposition would be more than happy to play the dirty game of Rizvi.
A number of these guys deserve jail but 'toheen-e-adaalat' is useless for this purpose. Rather a few should be controlled and detained on some other unrelated cases, if possible and government should take measures to restrict there exposure on the media. IMO, sometimes for statecraft, danda is necessary and they should be dealt with wisely.

IMO, a few times for statecraft, danda is necessary and they should be dealt with wisely.
My point was not about curtailing this langda maulvi, but rather double standard of Chut!a Justice Nisar who acts like he is some big tough guy. Faisal Raza Abidi was just arrested for speaking against courts and judges (mind you, he always spoke with proofs), and if you are a badmaash mullah these courts don't do anything.

So there has to be two seperate laws which should run side by side. One law for everybody else and one for Khadim Hussain Rizvi. Faisal Raza Abidi insults the Chief Justice , he has to go to jail, Khadim Hussain Rizvi not only insults but threatens the same chief justice the very next day and he should be ignored because the opposition may get the benefit. So law should not be same for everyone. I can tell you due to Khadim Hussain Rizvi serious threat, there is no chance that the case would come in Asia Bibi's favour. What kind of judiciary do we have in Pakistan where supreme court gets a serious threat before announcing a case and you are saying this threat must be ignored.

That is the problem with extremists... the more you appease them, the more you let them grow, the more dangerous they become until you reach a point where you can't deal with them without a significant amount of violent backlash...

The best way to deal with them is as soon as possiblw instead of letting them gather more support because "right now they only have little support hence are irrelevant" because they might not always remain irrelevant

Life is tough. Let's rather get into real-poltiks. No doubt a war is due with the ilk of Rizvi but this is not the right time . There is no benefit to open a front with the mulla. Let's wait for a few years then take upon this menace.
At present, there are already several sections which are feeling the heat and they will too happy to strengthen the hands of mulla to use them in their favor.

This is a political and social issue, (with a number of grievances on their side as well). Let the government handle at its own chosen turf , probably after the next election. Asia issue is very risky and perhaps, at present, the state is not capable to fight with him on this conflict. Right now country cannot afford a popular mulla agitation; As yet we have not fully overcome the last terrorism wave; Perhaps you are not afraid to get into civil conflict that cuts across all sections of the society, not just mulla, However I'll keep miles away from this civil war unless we get a complete victory over the last civil conflict that we have faced for over a decade. Call me coward; but I'll oppose if SC gets into this adventurism which is not just legal but a social and political matter affecting all sections of the society.

FRA is a responsible member of society, educated. These mullahs and many others ( Patwarri, Taliban) are not. So don't matter!

So the country will run smoothly if the Supreme court judge just ignores the threats given to him by Khadim Hussain Rizvi, while he continues to punish other politicians for contempt of court. I thought justice comes in the name of PTI because PTI believes justice is the most important ingredient to run a smooth government. As long as the idea that the opposition might use it for their benefit, Do you remember Khadim Hussain Rizvi last Dherna, Did Imran Khan use it for his benefit ? Did PTI criticise Khadim Hussain Rizvi for bocking Islamabad. There is a saying in English language
" What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander " Also the idea that ignoring Khadim Hussain Rizvi until the next election will solve the problem for a while is an extremely gullible idea. The speed of which Khadim Hussain Rizvi is getting popularity is incredible. No one knew who he was a few years ago and in the last election his party got over 2.1 million votes. His party got more votes in Punjab then PPP. By next election he would be an ideal candidate for the Prime Ministership. Or at least the next Prime Minister will be making country policies by taking a dictation from Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi.
Just remember the plant which General Ziaul Haq nurtured has become a giant tree. Or in term of medical science, the nicotine which General Zia started feeding to Pakistan's body and which was continuously fed for over 30 years has now been diagnosed with cancerous lungs. What happens when one ignores cancerous lungs with the hope that it might go away ?

You are overestimating mullahs force or capabilities. The army sorted them out in Egypt, Turkey, Algeria, and larger middle East. Pakistan should have the same result
