Yes agree that bad condition is due to the politics. Finsh all political unions like AIR LEAGUE AND PEOPLE UNITY who are responsible for corruption and this condition of PIA. I don't know how much do you know about PIA and their appointments and promotions.

Yeh aviation industry hai , haar aira ghaira nathu khaira naheen lagaya jaa sakta. Abb taak aam loog hi laga hoa tha, aur abhi main aam loog hi laga hoya hain. Wait for thier designations before criticizing. Armed forces are trained to provide security, and if it is security related then no worries with the appointment. If they are chosen as directors then you can criticize

Give me a single example of top civil service man whom shareef/zardari mafia didn't infected with corruption. We should better then choose top civil servants likes of ahad cheema, fawad hassan fawad???? or what was the name of tht advisor which nawaz shareef put who helped nawaz shaeref NRO with the help Hariri of Lebnan/Jordan during musharaf era???

PIA is already full with PAF personnel. Most of the cadet pilots are even from PAF who want to learn commercial flying on the public funding for free.
well ur just dragging it for sake of time wasting, a top bureaucrat wont be ready with flash of eyes, it would take 2.5 decades of services to reach to grade 21 or 22 and tht much era spend with goons of shareef & zardari mafia what would u suggest what to do with them???? Give them the chance to prove their loyalty to country & nation then to their old master then they can be considered....beside ur such a pseudo-intellectual to put anyone without aviation experience to PIA since they r "capable"

I personally feel that there is no fix to PIA's mess other than outright privatization but PTI has opposed it during PML-N era for the sack of opposition. As far as the idea of hiring on duty PAF men , let them try it and we shall see the impact with in 6 months.

so if we have all officers as corrupt then better to give command to Army. Right? now whole parliament is corrupt, will you suggest IK to give command to Generals? No, why because you feel that IK can change and we may have some good people out there. same thing i am saying. if u still insist then tell IK to hand over govt to some General.

I am not against Military...but the peoblem is Military is for defence and their vision is limited.....and they have only one speciality of disciple....this is hat they are trained for. This is good as far as Military is concerned....but not in civil. Pick up history you will find each Military dictator when ruled gave us one bad gift and we as a nation paid for it ever...........and same is true when a Military person is head of civil institute.......because of limited vision.
Well u start contradicting to ur own start of this thread, even if few officers from airforce come to PIA on deputation and some of them even retired and u start crying y not civilian were choosen & here u said hand over govt to generals. kisi aik bat per tu qaim rahooo chacha....and guess what since ur here to waste ur time so i wont be arguing to someone which contradicting his own thoughts!!!!

پی آئی اے ہیڈ آفس کراچی سے اسلام آباد منتقل کرنے ، نیو اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ کا آپریشن پی آئی اے کے سپرد کرنے اور پی آئی اے میں مزید 8 فوجی افسران کی تعیناتی کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہےجبکہارکان پارلیمنٹ کے لیے مفت ٹکٹ کی پالیسی پرنظرثانی اورایئرلائن انڈسٹری اور اندرون ملک سفر پر ٹیکس کم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔
وزیراعظم عمران خان کے زیر صدارت اجلاس میں وزیر ہوابازی محمد میاں سومرو ، وفاقی وزیر خزانہ اسد عمر ، آرمی چیف ، ایئر چیف ، سی ای او پی آئی اے ایئرمارشل ارشد ملک اور دیگر شریک ہوئے ۔
اجلاس پی آئی اے کے سی ای او ایئرمارشل ارشد ملک نے پی آئی اے کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی۔
دستاویز کے مطابق پی آئی اے ہیڈ آفس کراچی سے اسلام آباد منتقل کرنے کا اصولی فیصلہ کر لیا گیا ہے،اس سلسلے میں ایوی ایشن ڈویژن کو منتقلی کی سفارشات جولائی تک پیش کرنےکی ہدایت دی گئی ہے۔
اجلاس میں حاضر سروس فوجی افسران کی پی آئی اے میں تین سال کے لئے تعیناتی کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا۔8فوجی افسران میں سے 4 کا تعلق آرمی اور 4 کا پاکستان ایئر فورس سے ہوگا،فوجی افسران پی آئی اے میں تعیناتی کے دوران یونیفارم میں فرائض انجام دیں گے۔
اجلاس میں ایئرکموڈور جواد ظفر کو پی آئی اے بورڈ آف ڈائریکٹر میں شامل کرنے کا فیصلہ بھی کیا گیا۔دستاویزات کے مطابق نیو اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ کا آپریشن سول ایوی ایشن سے لے کر پی آئی اے کو دینےکا اصولی فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے ۔
سی اے اے ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ دنیا بھر میں ایئرپورٹ ریگولیٹر سے لے کر آپریٹر کو دینے کی اس سے پہلے نظیر نہیں ملتی۔
اجلاس میں وزارت خزانہ کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ پی آئی اے کو بوئنگ 777 طیاروں کی اپ گریڈیشن کے لیے 35 لاکھ ڈالر فوری دیئے جائیں جبکہ وزارت خزانہ پی آئی اے کی عبوری مالی امدادکے لیے مزید 15 ارب روپے جنوری میں ہی جاری کرے گا۔
اجلاس میں پی آئی اے کے ذمہ سول ایوی ایشن اتھارٹی کے اب تک کے تمام واجبات اور جرمانےمنجمد کرنے کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا ۔
اجلاس میں پی آئی اے کے لیے ترکی اور قطر سے دو ایئربس 320 طیارے اور ایک ایئر بس اے 330 کارگو طیارہ لینے کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔ ان فیصلوں پر پاکستان سول ایوی ایشن اتھارٹی میں تشویش پائی جاتی ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ اجلاس میں سول ایوی ایشن اور ایوی ایشن ڈویژن کی نمائندگی نہیں تھی۔
