وزیراعظم عمران خان کے زیر صدارت رواں ماہ ہونے والے اجلاس میں پی آئی اے اور نیو اسلام آبادایئرپورٹ کے بارے میں اہم فیصلوں کی تفصیلات سامنے آگئیں۔

پی آئی اے ہیڈ آفس کراچی سے اسلام آباد منتقل کرنے ، نیو اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ کا آپریشن پی آئی اے کے سپرد کرنے اور پی آئی اے میں مزید 8 فوجی افسران کی تعیناتی کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہےجبکہارکان پارلیمنٹ کے لیے مفت ٹکٹ کی پالیسی پرنظرثانی اورایئرلائن انڈسٹری اور اندرون ملک سفر پر ٹیکس کم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔


وزیراعظم عمران خان کے زیر صدارت اجلاس میں وزیر ہوابازی محمد میاں سومرو ، وفاقی وزیر خزانہ اسد عمر ، آرمی چیف ، ایئر چیف ، سی ای او پی آئی اے ایئرمارشل ارشد ملک اور دیگر شریک ہوئے ۔

اجلاس پی آئی اے کے سی ای او ایئرمارشل ارشد ملک نے پی آئی اے کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی۔

دستاویز کے مطابق پی آئی اے ہیڈ آفس کراچی سے اسلام آباد منتقل کرنے کا اصولی فیصلہ کر لیا گیا ہے،اس سلسلے میں ایوی ایشن ڈویژن کو منتقلی کی سفارشات جولائی تک پیش کرنےکی ہدایت دی گئی ہے۔

اجلاس میں حاضر سروس فوجی افسران کی پی آئی اے میں تین سال کے لئے تعیناتی کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا۔8فوجی افسران میں سے 4 کا تعلق آرمی اور 4 کا پاکستان ایئر فورس سے ہوگا،فوجی افسران پی آئی اے میں تعیناتی کے دوران یونیفارم میں فرائض انجام دیں گے۔

اجلاس میں ایئرکموڈور جواد ظفر کو پی آئی اے بورڈ آف ڈائریکٹر میں شامل کرنے کا فیصلہ بھی کیا گیا۔دستاویزات کے مطابق نیو اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ کا آپریشن سول ایوی ایشن سے لے کر پی آئی اے کو دینےکا اصولی فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے ۔

سی اے اے ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ دنیا بھر میں ایئرپورٹ ریگولیٹر سے لے کر آپریٹر کو دینے کی اس سے پہلے نظیر نہیں ملتی۔



اجلاس میں وزارت خزانہ کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ پی آئی اے کو بوئنگ 777 طیاروں کی اپ گریڈیشن کے لیے 35 لاکھ ڈالر فوری دیئے جائیں جبکہ وزارت خزانہ پی آئی اے کی عبوری مالی امدادکے لیے مزید 15 ارب روپے جنوری میں ہی جاری کرے گا۔

اجلاس میں پی آئی اے کے ذمہ سول ایوی ایشن اتھارٹی کے اب تک کے تمام واجبات اور جرمانےمنجمد کرنے کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا ۔

اجلاس میں پی آئی اے کے لیے ترکی اور قطر سے دو ایئربس 320 طیارے اور ایک ایئر بس اے 330 کارگو طیارہ لینے کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔ ان فیصلوں پر پاکستان سول ایوی ایشن اتھارٹی میں تشویش پائی جاتی ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ اجلاس میں سول ایوی ایشن اور ایوی ایشن ڈویژن کی نمائندگی نہیں تھی۔

It's a brilliant idea, If we want to see PIA stand on their feet once again.
They are high rank officers with experience in aviation deployed for 2-3 years. They will not be taking hefty wages from PIA and they are capable enough to do their job plus work
for PIA.

DHA is a profit making institution. I would be very happy if they can convert this white elephant in to one. Years of political appointee have destroyed PIA which was once touted as best airline.
You have already trained technician in Air Force why not use thier services for free for airline which is not making any profits.

Army probably is already there for security and may be asked for administration. In any case I'll take these officers any day over fake degree officials.

Currently the head of organization is also retired Airforce officer. If you are interested you can listen to his press conference where he explained all cost cutting measures he has taken. Also closing routes which were in losses and opening new routes.

There were other parts in the report as well like low taxes for PIA etc you just picked the one which suited you well

PIA must be put back on track By whatever means necessary. There has been administrative issues due to political interference and political recruitments in PIA over the years. PTI led government wants to sort out these administrative issues by hiring forces men so why not.

these men will run PIA with same resources janab. bat management ki hai. wo aam log b kr skte hain. sirf political interference khatam krni hai. no need for any army men. they are not super men but simple graduate beings aur unka success ka hawwa is lye hai ke unko koi kuch kehta nae. aj apko b command de do ke fully control hai sahi kro ap b kr lo gy

Meray bhai main ney un ki kabliyaat assume nahi ki they are qualified in aviation aur inshallah agar mulk ko diffa karnay key liye civilians ki zaroorat padi tou na app peechay raho gay na main. Its not good that we are using our airforce official in PIA but we don't have any other option.

I don't see any problem there, if they are corrupt & incompetent, they should be fired from PIA, if not then why is it a problem.

In China Army had different businesses for a long time, in order to be financially stable, in 2018 they started withdrawing army from these businesses. PIA pori b Air force ko mil jaey to kiya problem hay, they will run it like professionals.

Biggest strength of our armed forces is , Unity, Faith , Discipline. Civilians maybe more educated and experienced in running businesses but they willfully forget these 3 things and start making money for themselves and their facilitators through dirty means, or at the least they damage organizations by recruiting incompetent cronies of powerful people.
