Swat bye-polls to begin change: Imran

F.P. Report MINGORA: Imran Khan said on Monday that bye-election in PF-83 on January 28 (Thursday) will prove a harbinger for change in the country as time has reached for a change that would start from Swat. Imran Khan, addressing a gathering at the residence of Sher Khan, PTI candidate in bye-polls, in Kozabanda Kabal area, said those who had been elected many times in the past had brought the country to ruins and the current rulers were slaves of America and worshippers of wealth. Corruption and injustice have crossed all limits, he remarked. Imran said that they were with the Chief Justice of Pakistan and warned that if the government took any action against the judiciary, his party would arrange a long march towards Islamabad and that march would not stop at Gujranwala. He said the wrong and anti-people policies of the rulers had sent the country into the grip of a never ending cycle of disasters and the shortage of power, gas, sugar, atta has become a daily routine, and the ever rising prices have put the already poverty stricken people into grave financial hardships. The people are finding it difficult to even buy food, he said. He said because there was no justice, the rich were getting richer and the poor even poorer and added that corrupt people were getting encouraged by the policies of the present corrupt government. He warned the rulers were trying to win the bye-polls by rigging but the PTI will put a stop to the unfair means on the day of election. "The daily expenditure of the President House is one million a day and a billion rupees are being spent on foreign tours," he added.

MINGORA - Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan warned of a long march towards Islamabad in case a conspiracy has been hatched against the independent judiciary or Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Addressing a mass gathering during election campaign on Monday at Kabal and Koza Bandai, he said that a clear change has come about with the restoration of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, adding that some corrupt elements and political figures are busy in conspiracies against the independence of Judiciary.
Imran Khan said that billions of dollars as bank balance of the rulers are lying in foreign banks, and they have no concern for the poor people.
He maintained that no change would come until the eradication of the existing corrupt and insincere leaders of the country. Criticising the ANP and PPP-led coalition Government, he said that the Government has received billions of dollars in the name of the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Swat valley, but has not spent even a penny of it. He asked the masses to identify the corrupt leaders and not elect these elements in the upcoming by-elections.
He also came hard on President Zardari and said that with the support of infamous and illegal NRO, he occupied the Presidency.
Khan termed the MQM as a terrorist party and its chief Altaf Hussain sitting in London is a vibrant proof of it. He asked the political leaders in the Government to bring back the money of the people and reduce price hikes.
He asked the masses to vote for the PTI candidate in the by-election at PF-83, and prosperity in the area.
