1. Yes, India is secular.

Secular state means that the government takes public decisions, without any influence or favour, from or towards any religions...

2. Indian constitution states that India is a Secular country.
The intention is clearly written down...

3. Pakistan on the other hand is an Islamic state...as written in the Pak Constitution...
Thats the reason why a non muslim cannot become the Prime Minister, President or Chief of Armed forces...this is written in your constitution.

4. Acts by communal groups, cannot be blamed on the government of India...

By the way, on this forum, many members condone the destruction of temples etc. of the thousands of temples which were destroyed by muslim invaders...................... :cry:
