In the US rape cases have dropped significantly since the 1990s. Pornography became mainstream around that time in the US and the proliferation of the internet also started. Reported rapes in the US in 1994 were 106,100. In 2011 they were 81,425. And they are continually dropping. So your insinuation that proliferation of Pornography increases Sexual violence is unfounded when you correlate it to real data.

Like I said, the Sexual violence statistics do not support your claims. :) The problem of Pornography is a moral problem, not a factual problem. Hira Mundi in Lahore exists since the time of the Mughals. What pornography was there at that time to support an entire industry!? LOL. The ball is in your court.

In a society where pre-marital sex is allowed and every one can have sex as long as their partner is willing, Why do the rapes happen. When every one can get as much sex they want. If I am not mistaken then US is the country with the highest rape cases each year. And countries where PORN and SEX is prohibited Rape cases are the least. Like Middle Eastern States, Afghanistan, Pakistan etc. I find it ironic that the biggest supporter of free-will and the countries that support the GF/BF culture have such a high number of rape cases.

Please read this and then let me know how many MUSLIM states which prohibit pre-marital sex and condemn porn are mentioned, I saw only Bangladesh and I know that Rape does happen in Muslim states but not in such a huge number as these countries. Most of these countries support healthy sexual relations and even teach how to have safe sex in their schools.

Taimoor, I think I already mentioned this before, you should take the Pakistani rape statistic with caution. Because the US has the best in the world statistic collection. Almost everything is recorded, cataloged and stored. All their statistics will be higher than the world because they have better statistical collection. For example, in UAE - almost all crime is never reported anywhere. In Pakistan a lot of rape goes unreported due to religion, society and cultural stigma associated with it. In the US there is no stigma. I chose the US statistic as an example just because they have really accurate collection policy, regardless of what anyone thinks.

Deprivation of Sex is not a reason for Rape. Otherwise everyone in Saudia Arabia would be going around raping women. Similarly having a lot of sex is no reason for rape either. There are plenty of willing fish in the sea. ;) You've been watching too much 1980's hindi movies. lol.

In the US Pornography is a multi-billion dollar regulated industry. It is fully taxed. This means a lot of sex workers WANT to work in the US. A girl on webcam can earn $5/minute! While in Pakistan she gets peanuts and has to endure abuse because its a underground industry. Before you can completely Ban pornography you first have to acknowledge it. Those Mujras in Pakistan, Hira Mundi and all those Cellphone MMS circulating around, do you know what that is? That is pornography being Produced within Pakistan. I say Pakistani government needs to tax this. Create a whole new revenue stream. As a bonus send some to our Mullahs. That's where I saw my first film. ;)

yeah right Pakistan Government should regularize porn industry and should take some other steps as well. legalize the hira mandi and prostitution, legalize alcohol industry because it is being sold without any taxes, legalize corruption because billions can be generated in taxes on corruption earned money, allow all kinds of sexual activities for teenagers and support teenage mothers etc etc. Hell why not just let go Islam and ethical values and just allow every one to do what ever they want and just ask them to pay their taxes and do what ever they like. this way each day we will generate billions in taxes. I want to rape someone, I will pay my taxes and do it and no one will blame me. Seriously bro have you ever read Quran or Hadith. I wish Pakistan produced quality pornography. When we were in college, we thought this was a largely untapped market in Pakistan. Pakistanis will go crazy to consume quality Pakistani pornography. Yeah a few bad apples will cry about it. But that will not stop it. I mean who stopped Lahore's Hira mundi? nobody.

Hey. All I want is a better production value from Pakistani pornography producers. I mean is that too much to ask? You only got a 10 minute flick to make and you can't even make that with just decent quality?!
