The prime minister addressed the nation after his government presented its first Federal Budget 2019-20 in the National Assembly.
The Prime Minister stated that the Commission would include officers from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Intelligence Bureau (IB), inter-service intelligence (ISI), Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

He said that the country’s economy has now been stabilized, adding, “I’m coming after everyone who plundered public wealth.”
The Prime Minister also said the Committee of Inquiry would have a one-point agenda to determine how Pakistan's debt increased to Rs 24,000,000 from Rs6,000 billion in 10-years.
"You see, there were three ambassadors in Pakistan who wanted to invest, but did not accomplish it because our economy wasn't stable at that time," he said.
There is no quick fix to the country’s problems he said in his address. “You can already see how Pakistan is changing under our government.”
He added: “I want to create a Pakistan which is in line with the first Muslim society created by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Medina.”
The supremacy of law and meritocracy, he said, were the key devices in the first Muslim society.
He added that under former president Pervez Musharraf, the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) was made to address the track of the corruption and money laundering.
The Premier praising the Pakistan Army for refusing to increase senior officials ' pay even though the nation is confronted with the risk of terrorism and has opted only to increase salary for junior posts.
The premier said that ever since they come in government, he had been listening to the same question that “where is Naya Pakistan?”
He answered,
“Medina didn’t become a welfare state in one day … It’s not a switch that Imran Khan would turn on and it will become a Naya Pakistan … it is a process.”
PM Imran said the judiciary is today free and unbiased. "Now, Imran Khan cannot influence judiciary or NAB ... NAB is not under me. We didn't form NAB. We didn't appoint its chairman."
