PM orders action against negligent police officials in Farishtas case

وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے بچی فرشتہ کے قتل پر ایکشن لیتے ہوئے ڈی ایس پی عابد کو معطل اور ایس پی عمر خان کو او ایس ڈی بنا دیا۔

ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ وزیر اعظم نے آئی جی اسلام آباد عامر ذوالفقار اور ڈی آئی جی آپریشنز وقار الدین سید سے بھی معاملے پر وضاحت طلب کرلی ہے۔


انہوں نے کہا کہ ایف آئی آر میں نامزدگی کے باوجود تھانا شہزاد ٹاؤن کے پولیس اہلکاروں کو بروقت گرفتار کیوں نہیں کیا گیا۔

واضح رہے کہ 10 سالہ فرشتہ کو اسلام آباد میں اس کے گھر کے باہر سے اغوا کیا گیاتھا، جس کے دس دن بعد اس کی لاش ملی تھی۔

بچی کی تلاش اور مقدمہ درج کرنے میں تاخیر کرنے والے ایس ایچ او شہزاد ٹاؤن اور دیگر اہلکاروں کے خلاف مقدمہ درج کیاگیا ہے۔

Well this is the state of the country that PM needs to be taking notice of such incidents himself but sure "things aren't as bad as they seem. it's just media hype".

Same kind of ‘strict’ action will be taken which was taken after Sahiwal shootings. Few lower-ranked will be suspended, few other lower-ranked will be nominated in FIR, while no officer will be touched.

It is the responsibility of the officers to keep their juniors in-check without waiting for any tragedy to happen, reminding them all the time that if they did their duties diligently and honestly, they will be rewarded; otherwise, they will be severely punished. In reality, these seniors keep enjoying their own perks and their juniors keep teasing/torturing the public under their nose.

In Sahiwal shooting tragedy, lower-ranked police officials were put in jail, while their top-ranked officials were either transferred or weren’t touched. No reprimand ( leave alone punishment) was issued to that intelligence agency who gave confirmed tip of the “terrorists” travelling in the car. Justice would have been served if some senior police officials too were nominated in FIR and then the court would have decided their fate alongside those who did actual shootout. Similarly, some field intelligence officer(s) should have been suspended for bad intelligence work.
