ہو سکتا ہے کہ میرا تجزیہ غلط ہو۔ میں کبھی اپنی بات پر اندھا دھند اصرار نہیں کرتا۔ کسی کو بھی نہیں کرنا چاہیے۔ سیاست ویسے بھی بہت ڈیسیپٹو چیز ہے۔ مگر یہ بات تو اب اکیڈیمیا میں بھی مسلم تصور کی جاتی ہے کہ حب الوطنی اور خاص طور پر قوم پرستی اکثر آپ کی کی عقل کو ماوف کر دیتے ہیں۔ تجزیہ کرتے ہوئے اپنے تعصبات کو ایک طرف رکھنا چاہیے یا کم سے کم اس کی کوشش کرنی چاہیے۔

اکہتر میں کوئی آپشن ہی نہیں تھا۔ پوری آبادی آپ کے خلاف تھی۔ آپ نے کیا لڑنا تھا وہاں اور شملہ معاہدہ اس شکست کا لازمی نتیجہ تھا۔ باقی پینسٹھ میں آپ کو جنگ اگر کرنی تھی تو کافی سوچ سمجھ کر کرنی چاہیے تھی۔ ہم نے پینسٹھ کی جنگ بہتر پلاننگ کے بغیر شروع کی اور اس کا خمیازہ بھگتا۔​

I don't agree with this. Normally I support Pak Army because this is the only line of defense we have against the foreign aggression whether it is in the form of malicious political plans or direct military action/cross border terrorism. But they should not play cheap political games with us. They have shaped our foreign policy with IK in confidence so they should also courageously share the responsibility of unpopular decisions. In my view, until recently, they were sharing it but now the political burden is unbearable it seems. Zaid Hamid is doing nothing but reflecting the Pak Army's mind here by shifting the responsibility towards IK. This is not fair.

When the time comes, you will see me standing with my Army. But, I have a brain that thinks and is not a slave of anyone.

I am against Army's (not PAF, not Pak Navy) political engineering. Very soon, my dear PTI walas will see how Imran Khan will be made a scapegoat on Kashmir when even a stray cat of Pindi knows who makes the real foreign policy.
