Zaid Hamid is an ARMY Operative but he sides with the "Jihadi" school of thought within ARMY
There are two school of thoughts in ARMY. "Jihadi" and "Moderates"......
Hameed Gul etc = Jihadi
Musharaf etc = Moderates/Liberals/Enlighten Whiskey Drinking !
Since Musharaf's days, Moderates have taken over the narrative in ARMY but that does not mean that "Jihadi" are sleeping.

Brother, here Zaid Hamid is completely wrong. Imran Khan never had such a political and moral capital to impose any of his decisions during the ongoing Pak-India crisis. It was also the Army's decision not to escalate and free Abhinandan. Moreover, it is Pakistan Army's decision not to cross borders after the annexation of IOJK by India. If Pak Army would have decided to cross borders IK had no option but to back them. We understand that Pakistan economy is not in a condition that we could respond militarily to Indian aggression but it is totally unfair to put all the burden on Ik's shoulders. Ik and Pak Army should share the responsibility of Pakistan's policy towards India. And Zaid Hamid should not target the weak partner. If he disagrees with Pakistan's policy he should also have guts to respond to those who are firing the shots right now or otherwise he should keep quiet.

Releasing Abhinandan unconditionally to India and expecting a good will gesture from world's known butcher Modi was the biggest diplomatic and defense humiliation for Pakistan since Uncle Niazi took off his pants in Paltan Ground.
But, when we talk facts, they call us TRAITOR !
Interestingly, I remember Zaid Hamid kept begging back then to at-least have a prisoner swap for Abhinandan and get any of Pakistani back from Indian captivity.
I don't agree with this. Normally I support Pak Army because this is the only line of defense we have against the foreign aggression whether it is in the form of malicious political plans or direct military action/cross border terrorism. But they should not play cheap political games with us. They have shaped our foreign policy with IK in confidence so they should also courageously share the responsibility of unpopular decisions. In my view, until recently, they were sharing it but now the political burden is unbearable it seems. Zaid Hamid is doing nothing but reflecting the Pak Army's mind here by shifting the responsibility towards IK. This is not fair.
