Petition against Zardaris immunity filed in SC

A reference has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the immunity enjoyed by President Asif Ali Zardari. Petitioner Iqbal Haider, while talking to media, said that the eligibility of the president should be judged under Article 62 and 63 of the constitution. Iqbal argued that all the cases stood restored in wake of Supreme Courts ruling on NRO, and as such President Zardari was not eligible for the post. He noted that NRO was intact during the 2008 elections but for now it has been scrapped, adding that the eligibility for the presidential candidature should be judged under article 62 and 63 of the constitution. We fully sympathize with you. Your current Maalik is a Bigger Chor and lets you have bigger share of the Loot but New Proposed Maalik probably will not be so lienient.

Why are Pakistanis so stuck with the dishonest and corrupt politicians? I hope that President Zardari is tried fairly and meets his final fate in the courts of Pakistan. The whole world knows that Mr Asif Ali Zardai is a dishonest man.

It is ironical that a convicted person is president of Pakistan. Quid-e-Azam's rooh must be so upset.
(President Zardari has two separate convictions from courts)
