PEMRA should Temporarily ban Pakistani media

While the rest of the world media is busy in spreading awareness about the Corona virus, Pakistani media is still conducting political talk shows every two hours. This shows how ignorant, careless & selfish this gutter media is.

At least Billo and Sindh government should stop distribution of newspapers in Sindh.
Isn't that a clear and present danger for delivering virus at doorsteps?

If small hawkers can loose their livings, schools can be closed and people can be confined to their homes, why not newspapers?

For media ban, No -- let them spread their daily filth and let them become irrelevant.

I have been following the gutter media of Pakistan from last one week. They are doing nothing good in this crises, they invite politicians from Govt and Opposition and engage them into fights. Instead of raising awareness in common public and helping Govt their agenda is to create divides and spread disinformation. In a time when Pakistan need unity and all need to come together the gutter media of Pakistan is as usual dividing us.
For grater good PEMRA should temporarily ban all political shows and news channels. Govt should do press briefings through PTV and social media.

Only awareness campaigns , religious and motivational talks and educational programs for student locked in home .. nothing else should be permitted ...

Interestingly, instead of inviting subject matter experts, they invite people from different political parties who have nothing to contribute but to throw shit at each other..

Pakistani media is the 5th column. It is venomous and most lethal arm of the enemies of Pakistan. It must be tried under article 6.

Why was the Media never banned during time of Nawaz Sharif? Zardari and Benazir Bhutto? apni bari aye to media ko ban ker do? wah wah wah ! in Urdu we have a saying for people like you " Khairaaat Lagi Batnay Jab Gand lagi Phatnay " lol why were you not distributing khairaat before then?

not at all . Media was very free during the time of Nawaz Sharif and Zardari. No channels were ever taken off air and not a single interview was censored. Dead wrong u r !

In the national assembly, majority of the times they never showed imran khan or opposition's speeches.
