The fact that CJ mentioned this makes it pretty clear who is 'fishing' for credit.
PTI has been championing this cause for almost 9 years, well before Saqib Nisar was a nobody. PPP govt passed the ordnance under pressure from PTI, but it wasnt enacted as a law, because PPP and PMLN werent interested. Its not a coincidence that this happened during PTIs tenure.
Saqib Nisar is fast becoming a waste of space....self aggrandizing idiot.

اب کل کو ڈیم بنے گا تو اس کا کریڈٹ بھی انکل عمران ہی لیں گے۔ حالانکہ جناب میں جرأت نہیں تھی بات کرنے کی۔ جرأت نہیں کر پاتے تھے کہیں ووٹ بینک متاثر نہ ہو۔ نہ انکل عمران آسیہ ملعون کی بے گناہی پر کوئی بات کرتے ہیں۔ کیوں کہ ووٹ بینک متاثر ہوتا ہے۔ یہ صیح ہے کہ پاکستان کی کرپٹ اور چور سیاسی قیادت کے مقابلے میں ہم عمران کو ترجیح دیتے ہیں شروع دن سے ہی پر اس کا یہ مطلب نہیں ہے کہ جناب کوئی علامہ اقبال بن گئے ہیں۔
ذرا سی بھی جرأت ہوتی تو کراچی کو الگ صوبہ بنانے کی بات کرتے یا پھر عاطف میاں کو عہدے سے علیحدہ نہ کرتے۔ اب حالات یہ ہوگئے ہیں کہ نواز شریف کی طرح دوسروں کا کریڈٹ چوری کرنے پر آگئے ۔ جیسے کے نواز شریف ایٹمی پروگرام کا لیتا ہے۔

Lol......Its not about muhabbat at all.
For one, making dams is never CJs job anyway....so for him to talk on the issue is absurd to begin with. Secondly, I dont remember IK demanding credit, or plastering his face via absurd photoshoots across the country. He is the last person to search for credit.
As for Asia bibi, I would be upset if IK said anything in Asia's case. Its a judicial issue. We both know how fake and misused this blasphemy is in Pakistan. Its used to settle personal scores more than anything else. Theres no way to prove it...theres no way to disprove it. But the dumb laws that we have are happy to go with the 'no way to prove it' part.
At this point in time, there are far bigger economic issues to take care of before we get to things like a separate province in Karachi etc.
No doubt..CJ is the real person who behind the Dams and Overseas votting..He taken intiated before any one take..Now he and his next CJ after retirement.. should go hunt for corrupt.. sislian mafia...more hard and with real pace... still SC way behind the speedy justice...
Do you guys know what the main the role of the Chief Justice is, isnt he getting paid for delivering justice, implementation of the continuation and sorting out judiciary. Has he done any of that, I don’t think so, our judiciary is in a disarray, there are so many rotten eggs in the judiciary, they are still deciding cases on phone calls, CJP first priority was to get his own institution right for wich he is getting paid. The dam fund, checking hospitals, voted for overseas Pakistanis, etc, is the job of the government not his, if he has sorted his own institution and the government was not doing his job then I could see the sense.
As votes for overseas Pakistanis, Imran Khan has been campaigning for it since 2013 when this guy didn’t even exists. I am starting to hate this CJ, he seems to me like a glory hunter, he is more interested in publicity than making a difference
