Police, like all other institutions, had been destroyed by PMLN & PPP govt. The officers in Punjab police were recruited based on the party loyalties rather than merits.
Without approval of Hamza, Rana Sana, Shahbaz, Nawaz & other big fishes of Mafia league no recruitments were possible.
The entire Punjab Police has to be replaced by fresh blood based on Merit.

The only problem with the actions taken Sir PM is that police investigating police is a tamasha we are all familiar with and already know what the results would be. There has to be an independent entity probing police and not police itself.

Yet there is no mention of Wasim Akram Plus A.K.A. Buzdar in his tweet. Why no condition is attached to the CMship of Buzdar? And why the presence of every federal and provincial minister is subject to performance? Why such double standards, PM sahab? Ministers progress is reviewed every three months or so but no progress review of the two CMs (Buzdar and Mehmood).

Few posts outlining that the Police Problem was culminated by the previous regime. It is obvious from these posts that the problem had been identified whilst the current govt was in apposition. If nothing has been done so far except the jerk action of few suspensions and dismissals, proves that the current govt was totally unprepared to govern and so far has not got to gripps with the problem.

It was not pm job to come forward it was cm job lekin yee yateem cm by kya kry sary zindagy ky apny ghurbat mita rha hyy the whole pti was enjoying popularity and chanda given by public they were not serious about reforms and changing the system now paying the price

DPO, DSP, and SHO will be back with a bang in another district of Punjab. Just wait for some month. Bureaucracy always rescues itself. Since police will be investigating itself, they will put blame on some lower-ranked officials. Same happened in Sahiwal incident where lower-ranked CTD officials were made escape-goat but those who sent them on murder mission were easily saved ( CTD head of Punjab was transferred somewhere, if I remember correctly).

This thing is out in all of the Punjab Bureaucracy, PTI circles etc. Even the Pro PTI journos are saying this and by the way how Ahsan Jamil Gujjar has become so strong. Buzdar himself told Kamran Shahid that the first he met IK was when he told him that you will be the CM. How can you select a candidate for CM without even meeting him
