بھارتی ذرائع ابلاغ کے مطابق ویڈیو دسمبرکی ہے جب اداکارہ اورنگ آباد میں ایک اسٹور کی لانچنگ تقریب کے لیے پہنچی تھیں۔


ویڈیو میں دیکھا جاسکتا ہے کہ زرین خان ہزاروں آدمیوں کے مجمعے میں بری طرح سے گھری ہیں اور اپنی کار تک پہنچنے کیلئے جگہ بنانے کی کوشش کر رہی ہیں۔ کچھ سیکنڈز بعد وہ پلٹ کر ایک آدمی پر تھپڑوں کی بارش کردیتی ہیں جس نے رش کا فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے انہیں ہراساں کرنے کی کوشش کی تھی۔


اس واقعے سے متعلق بات کرتے ہوئے زرین خان نے کہا کہ بعض اوقات ہمیں کچھ بھی سوچے سمجھے بغیر معاملات کو اپنے ہاتھ میں لے لینا چاہیے۔ ایک خاتون ہونے کی حیثیت سے میرااس بات پریقین ہے کہ جو بھی آپ کو ہراساں کرے اسے اسی وقت سبق سکھا دوں چاہے ایسا بند کمرے میں ہوا ہو یا سب کے سامنے۔


اداکارہ نے مزید کہا کہ میں ایک ’’پبلک فگر‘‘ ہوں تو کسی کو یہ حق حاصل نہیں کہ وہ مجھے نامناسب انداز میں ہاتھ لگائے، اداکارہ ہونے سے پہلے میں پہلے ایک عورت ہوں جسے اس ماحول میں کام کرنے اور زندہ رہنے کا حق حاصل ہے جو مردوں کی طرح عورتوں کیلئے بھی یکساں محفوظ ہو۔
