He isnt famous in india maybe thats why u dont know
WE have not one but many learned scholars in our country. Unfortunately, we only highlight negative and Fazlo like people. Mufti Tariq Masood is educated and a true scholar to guide people in their daily affairs. We dont have the habit of asking scholars, in deen, we think we know everything. We have built opions which may have no connection to actual Deen.
How many people ask a scholar before starting a business or asking mushwara in daily affairs?

Don't all Muftis deviate from the official line?
This only for public consumption, their base support. If they really deviated from the script they would be in jail. All parties are 'tool' of the establishment to play each other off, this keeps the focus and attention away. After all we were ruled by the British who are masters in deception.
