Genuine question. Army always maintains a certain PR level that they are the best skilled soldiers and most patriot and nation need not worry about anything and trust them blindly.

If a person like Mufti Muneeb can keep a person like Khadim Rizwi on his side, then you all can see how far the clergy have fallen. These are the gatekeepers of Islam in Pakistan. And if you remove these people, there will be more like them to take their place. It is time to separate Religion from state.

Mufti Muneeb Chandpuri is not playing in anyone's hands.
What he is doing is well planned and thought of.
Mufti Muneeb Chandpuri was part of ulema committee that selected Moulvi Khadim as leader of aashiqan and head of TLP a couple of years ago after 2 days of deliberations. The ulema were probably carrying out a "aashiqan got talent" auditions on who can say more gaalia in the shortest amount of time.
Mufti Muneeb then wrote multiple articles in his daily newspaper columns in dunya news in the praise of Moulvi Khadim.
