متحدہ اپوزیشن کا منی بجٹ کی مخالفت اور احتجاج کا فیصلہ

اسلام آباد: متحدہ اپوزیشن نے حکومت کی جانب سے آج قومی اسمبلی کے اجلاس میں پیش کیے جانے والے منی بجٹ کی مخالفت کرتے ہوئے شدید احتجاج کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔

قومی اسمبلی میں قائد حزب اختلاف شہباز شریف کے چیمبر میں اپوزیشن جماعتوں کا مشترکہ اجلاس جس میں کئی اہم فیصلے کیے گئے۔

اجلاس میں مریم اورنگزیب، رانا تنویر، رانا ثناءاللہ، نوید قمر، خورشید شاہ، شیری رحمان، راجہ پرویز اشرف اور امیر حیدر خان ہوتی نے شرکت کی۔

ذرائع کے مطابق شرکا نے متفقہ طور پر فیصلہ کیا کہ منی بجٹ کی شدید مخالفت کی جائے گی اور قومی اسمبلی کے اجلاس میں شدید احتجاج کیا جائے گا، شرکا نے کہا کہ حکومت کی طرف سے ظالمانہ ٹیکسوں کا نفاذ قبول نہیں۔

پیپلز پارٹی کے رہنما نوید قمر نے اس موقع پر کہا کہ حکومت نے پہلے منی بجٹ میں 70 ارب روپے کے ٹیکس لگائے اور اب مزید 170 ارب روپے کے ٹیکس لگانے جا رہی ہے۔

Actually it is a reflection of changing circumstances. As Pakistan has secured several new loans on favourable terms, so there need to be adjustments in Economic Policy. It could not have been foreseen or planned whether Pakistan would get the loans from whom or when. Hence this "Mini Budget"

Lower oil prices and devaluing rupee up-to 35% and hiking the taxes.And, What is hunting economy is uncertainty and no direction given by government.No economic policy announced.

Oil prices were lower in PMLN's era. Taxes have not been hiked. In fact PTI govt. does not enjoy the mobile pre-paid card taxes. So why couldn't PMLN achieve all these indicators with much better conditions?

I totally agree about uncertainty not sure about confusion.
I am of the opinion that ONLY IK believed he could do this
when Leader after Leader are willing to trust HIM (only him) and his leadership.

Bizarre that he has more trust from abroad than he has from within Pakistan. Foreign Leaders are trusting IK with Billions in loans but within Pakistan people seem to be skeptical of even one rupee he might have spent on their behalf

The govt. has secured loans and investment from friendly countries, therefore the situation is different. Plus they are trying their best not to tax the poor. In the previous mini-budget, only duties on luxury imported items were increased. No new tax was imposed. Now they want to facilitate the export sector so that they can compete with the region.
