I wish I could find Dr Israr Ahmed RA's lecture where he referred to how the ibn sauds helped topple the khilafat and later when a conference of All muslim nations was called at Al Azhar University in Egypt to reconvene and re-establish Khilafa -- the Sauds diverted the muslims attention with the help of Britain (I think) by holding another meeting of muslim countries (forgot the title).....
