Last words of Imran Farooq about Altaf Hussain

Roughly three weeks ago, this scribe came across Dr Imran at a local shopping mall and exchanged views about Pakistans situation for about five minutes. He told The News then he was spending a lot of time reading books and enjoying indoor sports.

He had also said that it was not correct that he was not on the same page as the rest of the party.

I can tell you Altaf Hussain still consults me on various issues and I admire his leadership. I have always done that and will always remain committed to the philosophy he taught us. Lets not care much about what media says a lot of times,
he said in a very light mood and went off for shopping.

These are the last words of Dr Imran Farooq to a journalist who met him just 3 weeks before his Murder.
The person is Geo and Jang London Correspondent Murtaza Ali Shah.
I don't want to say any other thing but these words are slap on the face of the people who are trying to make this murder controversial.

Here is the link to the article of Murutza Ali Shah publish in the News.

Pakistan: Imran Farooq murder linked to rows within MQM party

Politician may have been about to endorse or join new party set up by General Pervez Musharraf, source claims

The Scotland Yard investigation into the murder in London of the leading Pakistani politician Dr Imran Farooq has been told that rows within his own party may have led to his assassination.
Farooq, 50, was stabbed to death earlier this monthduring an attack in which he was also beaten near his home in Edgware, north London. Farooq was a senior figure in Pakistan's MQM (Muttahida Quami Movement) party, and was in exile in London at the time of his death. The murder is being investigated by Scotland Yard's counter-terrorism branch because of the political dimension to the killing.
Sources say intelligence suggests his death was linked to rows within the MQM.
Farooq, once prominent in MQM, had taken a back seat. A senior Pakistani source said he may have been about to endorse or join a new party set up by Pakistan's former military ruler, General Pervez Musharraf. The source said of the motive: "It lies within the MQM. Dr Farooq was probably going to join Musharraf."He is vowing to leave his own London exile and return home to launch a fresh bid for power. His new party, the All Pakistan Muslim League, will launch its programme in London later this week.
Asked by the Sunday Telegraph about his reaction to Farooq's murder, Musharraf said: "It is terrible that such an assassination could happen in a place like London."
Farooq, who was married with two young sons, claimed UK asylum in 1999 alongside Altaf Hussain, the MQM's leader. Hussain, who also lives in exile in London, has said "enemies of the MQM" killed Farooq and they will try to kill him. Pakistan's media reported him as saying on Friday: "Now the enemies of the movement are after my life, but I want to tell them I am not afraid of anyone, whether it's a superpower like the United States or its Nato allies or their Pakistani agents I fear the Almighty Allah and will never bow down before the conspirators even if they get my British citizenship rescinded."
Police in London are still hunting an attacker who, one witness said, appeared to be an Asian man. Analysts say the MQM has longstanding rivalries with ethnic Pashtun and Sindhi parties in Karachi. The MQM has also been riven by occasional internecine violence.
Before entering the UK, Farooq spent seven years on the run in Pakistan from criminal charges while the MQM was engaged in a violent battle for control of Karachi. He remained a key party figure. While MQM leader Hussain is protected by private guards and rarely appears in public following death threats, colleagues said Farooq never believed he was at risk and had played a smaller role in the party since the birth of his sons, now aged five and three.
Farooq was attacked on his way home from his job at a chemist's shop. He was found near his home after neighbours witnessed what they believed was a fight. Paramedics were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
MQM party officials in the party's stronghold of Karachi declared a 10-day period of mourning. Previous political killings have triggered riots and deadly clashes between rival factions. Police are keeping an open mind as to the identity of Farooq's killer and their investigation continues.

if this is true that he was about to join musharaf or some other party, or even he was thinking to lunch his own party. then scotland yard should investigate altaf hussain. if he would have joined mushi, then there might be disturbance in MQM. as i heard in news. imran farooq was very popular in karachi or hyderabd. the so called vote bank of mqm would have been divided. and altaf hussain would have lost his power.

2nd important thing. altaf hussain ka jo bayan aya hey keh mujhey bhi shaheed kar dia jaey gha aur mein usa aur nato say darta nahi hoon, chahey oss ki nationality khatum ho jaey, woh mehaz iss lieyey hey keh ossay lag raha hey scotland yard kahein imran farooq key asal qatloon tak na poonch jaein yani altaf hussain tak. warna usa aur nato ko iss say kya hey. yeh to un key under wear wash karta hey. he is doing and ready to do every dirty game what they ask him.

waysay mazay ki baat yeh abb ALTAF Hussain her 5 minute baad shalwar gheeli kar leyta hey dar key marey. MQM key headoffice key log tang a ghayee hoon ghee oss key pampers change kar kar key:))

Aray bhai I also has inside information that Farooq Bhai wanted a strategic alliance with Sheikh Rasheed or Tehreek Insaf in Punjab by hibernating militant wing. All this was not only to change the status quo politics but also encashing the good repute of Mustafa Kamal.

Nation lost a leader who had devoted his life fighting for the long awaited change that Pakistan aches for. Being a true hero he helped his people disseminate the vision of his leader. A loyal political worker and a successful mentor. Dr. Imran Farooq was a teacher for many students you see as parliamentarian and the success behind one of the most fastest growing political party of Pakistan. He will be missed dearly, by his family and friends he has left behind as a man of principles and disciplined, honest human being.

It was a strange murder, a sudden shock, a message to the leadership, or perhaps a terror filled reaction to stop MQM from challenging the status quo. It was not a mugging incident which coincidently took place 30 minutes before the turn of the clock to 12 AM, when the party was to listen a very important speech by MQM Chief Altaf Hussain on his 57th birthday. The mugger did not run away with his belongings, and neither did he rob his wife and children upstairs before attacking him. His family was only a flight of stairs above, unaware of the brutal slaughter just outside the apartments main door. Dr. Farooqs mobile phone was not stolen either which is with the Scotland Yard for reviewing the usage for clues. He worked 9 to 5 at a local pharmacy and had a daily routine. There were no guards with him, as he lived a very normal life, even his neighbours didnt know of the personality. Hence, the target was easy and the attack was professionally planned and executed. He was never sacked neither was ever another convener installed since he took this responsibility until his last on the 16th of September 2010.

Dr. Imran Farooq wrote the code of discipline for MQM, which even the opposition acknowledges and appreciates about the structure. Whenever he breached it he was like any other made un-functional as the constitution of the movement was supreme to the status or position he held. This great example trickles top down and is visible clearly as the party shows increased success every election. The man was an achiever and he was a great asset for Pakistan which most were never aware of.

In order to promote hate, the conspirators are calling it Jo Qaid Ka Ghaddar hai, who maut ka haq dar hai. Clearly they dont know the devotion of a worker of MQM to the movement, and foolishly the fail to realize they are also a part of an ideology that keeps them from going beyond propa****a weblogsites and news sources.

Few newspapers have come up with some retarded conspiracy theories. I cannot blame them because we used to do this on a Government and Military levels in the past. Instead of mourning the loss of a political worker and taking the society for correction they got busy working hard on table-stories by inciting more hatred by writing personal and biased opinions and calling them sources which have no way to be verified or proved.

After this, there is a follow up of SMS campaigns by the same maniacs sending links to log on or full texts declaring the deceaseds own party as his killer. There are always some who would like to learn about negative before the positive and blindly believe in it, being a huge society of illiterates but aware of politics it works very well with them on a massive level. News about MQM is more interestingly read in up country than in Karachi itself, the difference is that in the 90s it was national media, and now its blog sites and websites only. If these propa****a sites were so true, then our mainstream free media would have been the first to discuss about these conspiracies publically and put these questions to the party.

Scotland Yard is looking for 2 people of Asian (Desi) origin, and have got some very important clues. Dr. Farooqs wife and children are in protective custody because they feel as it was an act of possible terrorism and his family might be attacked too. These group has links in Karachi for certain, because immediately after the news of Dr. Farooqs assassination, vehicles were burnt in the posh localities of Karachi. This has never happened before. MQM strong holds remained calm and quiet. If MQM was to react, they would have started from their areas where they are in number and strength. The next day all activity was closed in Karachi and Hyderabad on a self initiative of the residents. It maybe fear for life and property, because past events have such examples. MQM has announced mourning until the 26th of September, halting all political and organizational activities. This is the best time for the conspiracy theorists to go ahead with their propa****a as they know it can spread well until MQM starts defending, the brain-washings would be complete.

17th and 18th were calm, and with no incidents of violence or arson, it was back to normal. But on the 19th, the enemy of the country targeted and shot dead 2 from MQM, 3 of SSP, 1 from ISO, 1 Pakhtoon, and injured another 10 of various backgrounds. This is a perfect recipe to get this city burning, while its in shock. This is when the drug, land and the terror mafias present can carry on their business without hindrance by keeping the law and order enforcement busy with snap checking and protecting property. I just hope better sense prevails and this is not let out of control.

Hopes are high that Scotland Yard will be able to get to the killers of Dr. Imran Farooq, and this also adds to the curiosity of finding out who it could be and what will happen then. Each one us knows with conviction who could it be, some will discuss it, but most would keep it within them, not to be embarrassed later. This incident has more to it, as it also gave a message to the leadership to be warned and stop calling for the revolution of the poor. Pakistan is not ready to change?

MQM has extended confidence in the investigations of the UK law enforcement and wait for the report to make it public. The report will only be given to Mrs. Farooq or next of kin as per their laws, so I warn theorists in advance it cannot be tampered with, and we know that will be your next mission.

Information that is verifiable is what we should believe in and develop on. It is our responsibility to be mature and not fall for such theorists, which blocks your positive imagination and creativity. They are getting paid to do it, but you are made a victim for free.

Last Words Of Imran Farooq About Altaf Hussain ڈاکٹر عمران فاروق کی جرنلسٹ سے بات

LONDON: The residents of a middle class but multicultural suburban area of London were as much shocked as the people of Pakistan after the tragic murder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movements Dr Imran Farooq here on the early evening of Thursday.

As the news spread like a jungles fire, the MQM declared mourning for 10 days across Pakistan and Karachi, the city which Dr Imran left in 1999 to come to live in the sanctuary of London, became tense instantly. In London, police confirmed to The News on Thursday in a statement that a murder inquiry had begun after a death in Edgware.

Police were called to Green Lane, Edgware, shortly before 17:30 hrs following reports of a serious assault. A man aged 50 suffering serious stab wound and head injuries was treated by paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed but we await formal identification. A post mortem examination will be scheduled in due course. Detectives from the homicide and serious crime ommand are investigating. An incident room will open later today (Thursday), said the police.
Dr Imran Farooq claimed political asylum in the UK after he was sought dead or alive by security forces in Pakistan. He always maintained that the charges of criminal and terrorist activity were politically motivated and there was never any truth in them.

In London, where the MQM International Secretariat is based, nearly a dozen members of the powerful Rabita Committee held its session after the shock news was broken to the secretariat by the Scotland Yard.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain arrived at the party headquarters shortly after the paramedics declared that Dr Imran Farooq had succumbed to very serious stab wounds on his neck and head.
The MQM leader, who was set to celebrate his 57th birthday but cancelled the celebrations after hearing the tragic news, sobbed and cried. As tears rolled down his cheeks, amid sobs he remembered those times when Dr Imran was one of those few comrades who stood by him as the party faced the full might of the state.
He told The News: Imran was like my child. He was my own. His martyrdom has struck us all in the most tragic way. He is a revolutionary martyr. This is the biggest shock of my life. I am shaken to my very foundations that this could happen to someone I literally brought up in the party tradition has lost his life in this manner. When he managed to arrive London safely, I celebrated our reunion but now he has been taken away from me.
Altaf Hussain refused to speculate or discuss the theory behind the murder and appealed to the Scotland Yard to do everything to unearth the real culprit(s), who killed the mild-mannered and highly educated Dr Imran in a busy street, only at about five minutes distance from the partys international headquarters.
The MQM chief urged the party workers to remain calm and wait for the final outcome of the police investigation, which was looking at multiple angles to nail the true trail of the high-profile murder.
At least, seven streets are around the murder spot, believed to be just outside Dr Imrans two-bedroom flat. The police cordon had affected at least over 100 houses and not less than 10 exit points from the murder scene.
A police official at the local station, which managed the initial response after the crime was reported, told The News: This is an extraordinary murder carried out in a well-organised manner. We are involved in a very complex investigation and looking at various theories.
Residents at the streets where the killing took place told The News on Thursday they were shocked at what had happened at their quiet street. Alexa Curion, a local nurse, said she had lived on the street for more than 30 years and found the street and the area generally to be very nice and relatively crime free. I am shocked. I never knew who this Pakistani politician was who lived a few doors away from mine but I am saddened that he has been killed, she said.
Andrew Hitchins, a local campaigner on equality issues, said he was aware that a major Pakistani political party had its headquarters nearby and its members lived around the street of the crime but found all of them like other peaceful citizens going about their daily routine.
This scribe met the deceased MQM leader at various MQM functions in its international secretariat. He was in attendance at the last years APMSO annual function with his wife and children. He mingled with other members and leaders of the party.
Lets not care much about what media says a lot of times, he said in a very light mood and went off for shopping.
Who could have known then the man who remained an idealist and optimist will be butchered on a street in the most vicious manner thousands of miles away from the homeland he grew up in and played a huge part in shaping its political history.

The newspaper reports are fair enough. I would say that, May Allah help us find and punish the culprits.
