I have sciatica nerve pain in my leg. I have started using Kalonji oil and Alhamdulilah the pain has lessened. I started with one tea spoon in the evening and one in the morning. Now I am taking one table spoon in the morning and one in the evening.

My question is , is that too much?. For the people here who use kalonji oil, how much dosage do you take and how often?

Don't have any experience with Kalonji oil. I hope you are not sitting all day . Walk at least one hour Morning and one hour in evening.
One spoon is enough ,, two is too much and overdose of anything is never recommended please.
I am a regular user and it’s effective don’t give up this habit

i had same problem as you, sciatic pain and shooting down the right leg... i went to chiropractor and got adjustments done on back and feet... after about 10-12 sessions and some diet it was gone... so i would recommend doing that...

kalonji is good, but go light on it, excess will not heal faster or directly...

Bro! that should be the max dosage. Don't go beyond that.
If 2 TBS x twice a day, you think is helping you without any side effects then stick to it. Don't listen to unqualified people.
I'm taking same amount since early 2000 which has kept my cholesterol numbers to...... like a healthy teenager. Before I started taking it almost 20 years ago (rain or shine I have never missed it), I always had cholesterol numbers above 400. Alhamdolillah, I do not have any side effects and it has worked for me like "Aaab e Hayat". At times I sprinkle 1/2 tbs seeds on salad or on curry as well. It helps for a number of medical problems.
Additionally, this is the max dosage I recommend to my patients as well.

I'm taking same amount since early 2000 which has kept my cholesterol numbers to...... like a healthy teenager. Before I started taking it almost 20 years ago (rain or shine I have never missed it), I always had cholesterol numbers above 400. Alhamdolillah, I do not have any side effects and it has worked for me like "Aaab e Hayat". At times I sprinkle 1/2 tbs seeds on salad or on curry as well. It helps for a number of medical problems.
Additionally, this is the max dosage I recommend to my patients as well.

How often and how much of kalonji oil is always an enigma for me.

why take only Kaonji oil? Why don't you use it as whole e.g when you are cooking put in your bread. Yes, taste is little bitter but you will get use to it.

Yes, you're right. Although there is no rule of thumb in regards to dosage, but its always good to play safe when you're using herbs in their 100% pure form.
Let's say if you're taking 2 Tbsp in 24 hours and if after some time you start noticing some sort of gastro intestinal problem.... it means you are over doing it so come down to 2 tsp in 24 hours.

First of all this man DrAdam is not a doctor ( guaranteed)
Always on the forum ,,, and all the time free Dr is very rare in the world ,,, secondly look at all the posts does it look like a doctor is discussing politics ,,,

CHOLESTEROL is not in no’s it’s LDL and HDL ratio or Serum which is important ,, Look at his reply the way he writes. I recommend

I am just starting it after hearing so many great things about it.

I am starting one teaspoon in sehri and maybe one after Iftar, but I'll first start with sehri and gradually add after Iftar. Thanks for reply - much appreciated.
