I am Still Hopeful but Disappointed

As an overseas Pakistani in early 30s, my heart bleeds for the Pakistan. Today. I saw Shehbaz Sharif's running picture on London roads, I fell ashamed and deeply disappointed.I don't know why Pakistan is having these hard times for such a long time.

We deserved better since the the inspirations were sky high during the independence movement. I wonder what would those independent movement martyrs think about the current state of the affairs. I just feel that the due change is not coming as the Pakistani nation has not yet been fully scrubbed.

Imran Khan is for sure an agent of change but to tie the hopes with Khan to flip the fortunes of the country maybe too pridicment.
I am still hopeful that the Devine and Unseen Force will guide us to a better tomorrow.

And Im confused. What exactly are you ashamed about? The fact that Shahbaz has to 'run on London roads', and that he didnt get any protocol over there? or the fact that he would never do that in Pakistan?

The fact that he is living like a Firoon in Pakistan and there is no one in Pakistan to keep tabs on him.

Yes, that is indeed embarrassing for us as a nation. Its largely due to illiteracy, a phenomenon that PMLN and PPP have actively ensured.

We like it or not but we have to accept our fair share for this turmoil, the current situation we are in & why these crooks are ruling this beautiful country with full of talent and resources.

Pakistan and it's people deserve better but are we trying to correct ourselves, I guess not !
The famous saying, "Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is insanity". Unfortunately this is what we're, trying same people again & again with all the different reasoning behind.

Pick on IK as mush as you like but his intent is clear, he's done a lot in his capacity, this is the least encouragement to think about him.

Otherwise, we'll be discussing same after 5 years, Dollar will be touching 250 Rs. & still we'll be missing out on basic necessities.

Spot on. I agree with your assessment. Today, there is an out cry in the US media for separating the illegals from their young children at the border crossing. Like it or not, Americans are also deeply divided but the common man condemn and speaks against bad policies, corruption etc. I feel jealous and at the same time very disappointed that our media has lost the morality and courage to highlight and speak against the evil. They haven't educated nor shown a clear picture to public at all.
In BTW, Nawaz Sharif govt paid $5 billion for circular debts to Mansha right after winning the 2013 election. I checked it last month and the new circular debts have reached $10 billion (Defense Budget). No one in media has talked about it. This reminds me the classic example from the "Confessions of An Economic Hitman"

PS: I request to Siasat.Pk community to highlight these sort of scandals. Forget that the so called "Champion Anchors" will do it.

Pray that this "Divine and Unseen Force" destroys the "OBVIOUS FORCE" of "KHAKIS" and "JUDICIARY".

spot on! no one to blame but us the people.....the day we take responsibility and live beyond our sects, race, status stuff everything ll come by but till then even imran khan can't do much. just to give you an example in KPK he implemented bio metric attendance system in hospitals and schools and trust me people are not happy with him because of this.
