Talibani punishment to Dalit man in MP, dragged by pickup vehicle, man dies - The Newz India
A horrifying video has gone viral from Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh, seeing that everyone’s faith in humanity will be lost. A young man is brutally beaten up on suspicion of mere theft, then he was dragged behind a pickup car with a rope.
The accused themselves, after committing this horrific crime, informed the police on dial hundred that they had caught a thief, Singoli police reached the spot and the injured was referred to Neemuch district hospital where he died. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police have identified 8 accused, out of which four have been rounded up, as well as the pickup car used in the incident has also been seized. There is also a sarpanch husband Mahendra Gurjar who has also been arrested. Search is on for the remaining accused.
The incident is from Singoli police station area of Neemuch district where all limits of atrocities were crossed. A Bhil tribal was beaten up badly by some people on the suspicion of being a thief and still did not feel satisfied, then dragged him by tying with a rope behind a pick-up van. In this case, the accused also made a video of the crime and made it viral.
When the police investigated this whole matter closely, it was found that the same people who made the video had beaten up the said tribal man badly and dragged him behind the loading vehicle. As soon as the viral video surfaced, there was a stir in the police administration and Neemuch SP Suraj Verma, taking swift action, ordered to register a case of murder and Atrocity Act against 8 people in this whole matter. Mahendra’s father Ramchandra is the main accused. The wife of accused Mahendra Gurjar is the sarpanch from Banda.
According to the information, 45-year-old deceased Kanha alias Kanhaiya Bhil was a resident of Banda, who was caught by some people passing by mistaking it as a thief and started beating, after which some more people came there. Before dying, Kanhaiya Bhil was seen begging for mercy with his folded hands but they didn’t listen to him.
