ABU DHABI (Dunya News) – Match referee on Thursday has directed New Zealand’s batsman Ross Taylor to show some responsible attitude regarding his objection over Pakistani player Mohammad Hafeez’s bowling action.
Taylor had stirred controversy as he violated rules and lodged complained to the umpire about bowling action of Mohammad Hafeez.
As per International Cricket Council (ICC), the authority to judge action of a bowler lies with the on-field umpire. The batsman has no right or jurisdiction to do so.
It merits mentioning here that ICC had suspended Hafeez as many as three times over illegal bowling action in the past.
