How much money will be spent on this ?
How will it improve the discipline of the youth or whatever the intended outcome is, sorry didn’t watch the above video.
There used to be NCC in colleges but then scrapped

Army 'propaganda' is not working and have to come up with elaborate schemes and remember, Generals never retire!
600,000 including reserves is sufficient to defeat India. It's quality that counts not quantity. If the goal and mindset is materialism then you already been defeated.
Israeli military is run on ideology, Indian army under Modi is replicating this model.

Doesnt cost much to feed a bunch of teenagers and train them. The main cost would be to buy extra equipments like tanks, guns, fighter jets, ships that conscripts will use when they are called upon. This wont be much of a problem if those weapons are produced domestically and kept in storage like in Israel.
Most of our youth doesnt work and this might discipline to actually get a job afterwards and contribute to the economy.
We can also use this to improve our literacy rate and educate conscripts during the training period.
I think there is not much downside to it and lots of upside. It improves our security, economy and literacy rate.

Lol, those were fun days, an absolute useless activity but a great escape college classes
I do not know which world our decision makers live in?
What is their purpose here, let’s assume they give training to youth, but for how long will it last, the training ? Let’s assume that it will last for 4 years and we will have skilled youth graduating with additional skills of army, then What? that one day they will be ordered to attack the enemy ? Or will this train help us fight crime on the street ?

Even in a country like modern day Germany, during 13th class, if you dont want to spend your time to learn or help handicap or teaching somewhere, you have to go to NCC training.
Military training or NCC shouldnt be the only option. Give them variations. like "Fix-it or neighbourhood spidermen stuff. But it should be the end-option.

وٹامن سی بھائی آج کل جنگیں ٹینکوں اور گنوں سے نہیں لڑی جاتیں اب میزائل اور مہنگے فائٹر جہاز درکار ہیں جیت کی صورت میں قبضے کے لئے شاید ٹینکوں کی ضرورت پڑے - اب جنگ بہت مہنگا سودا ہے ایک ایک میزائل اور فائٹر طیارہ اتنا مہنگا ہے کہ انسان کی سوچ سے باھر ہے سرحدی جھڑپیں تو چلتی رہیں گی مگر مجھے نہیں لگتا کبھی اب پاکستان انڈیا میں مکمل جنگ ہو گی دونوں ایک دوسرے کی ٹکر کی فوجی طاقتیں ہیں اور دونوں ایٹمی ہتھیار بھی رکھتی ہیں اس لئے ان چیزوں کی موجودگی نے دونوں کو محفوظ بنا دیا ہے جیسے امریکہ اور چین یا امریکہ اور روس کی جنگ نہیں ہو سکتی ہماری بھی نہیں ہو سکتی - امریکہ کو دیکھ لیں وہ افغانستان اور عراق جیسے ملکوں پر حملہ کرتا ہے اور عراق میں بھی پہلے ٹارگٹ کو سوفٹ کر کے پھر جاتا ہے مگر کامیابی پھر بھی نہیں ملتی - چھوٹے موٹے تنازھے تو چلتے رہیں گے مگر مجھے پوری دنیا میں بھی کوئی بڑی جنگ ہوتی نظر نہیں آ رہی - ہر ملک نے اپنے دفاع کے لئے کچھ نہ کچھ بندوبست کر رکھا ہے جو دوسرے کو حملہ کرنے سے روکتا ہے -
