Game over: WHO lists video game addiction as mental health disorder

This may seem like a revelation, but it isn’t. There are experts in the field as well as Islamic Scholars, such as Shaikh Hamza Yusuf, who have been relating this same rhetoric with evidence and statistics for more than ten years now. We just haven’t been listening. Now that the World Health Organization has finally reported this, is it time for us to sit up and pay attention? We would hope so, but then denial is the first step to acceptance. We can’t expect a sudden epiphany and an instant revolution. Please remember, however, this doesn’t just stop at video games and we should pay closer attention to the information being presented this time. As is the case with such low-grade addictions, prevention early on is far easier than rehabilitation for when the addiction has already taken root. https://www.facebook.com/Is.Science.Antichrist.Dajjal/videos/148465955844986/

I was addicted to a game called Warcraft 3 and played that for like 10 years.

I have now a bipolar disorder but it doesn't have anything to do with the addiction I had with that game.
