seriously yara i spent my mid school time in sialkot, then among peshwar people and these guys are so good with hand related work and those who have this psychic disease of brands & designer definitely know hand stich stuff has more worth and always are in limited edition.
Siimilary those Sindhi ajrak, kamalia Latha, that Sawati topi and chinyot furniture. I wish we can promote these

U r absolutely right last year on my tour to pak I gone all the way to Peshawar from rwp to buy Peshawary chappal I bring 5 pairs they r so beautiful so comfortable here in Australia many people ask for that I love my culture

In the Western nation, over the past few years, hand made products are sold at somwwhat premium prices by small businesses. I wonder if Pakistan could tap that market.

مجھے یاد پڑتا ہےنوے کی دہائی کی شروعات میں بابا جی کو ایک دوست کی طرف سے اٹلی سے آفر آئی ہاتھ سے بنے اشیا کو فرخت کرنے کی۔۔ اس میں پاکستانی ہونے کی شرط بھی نہیں تھی۔۔
ویسے بھی اس زمانے میں ویزوں کا کوئی خاص مسٗلہ نہیں ہوتا تھا۔۔پھر بابا جی ساٹھ کی دہائی سے باہر کی دنیا پھرتے رہےتھے تو انہیں مسئلہ ویسے بھی نہیں ہونا تھا۔۔
انہوں نے پاکستان کے شمالی علاقہ جات کے علاوہ نیپال اور تھائی لینڈ میں ہاتھ سے بنی اشیا بھی بھجوائیں۔۔اور بعد میں خود بھی اٹلی جاتے رہے۔۔یہ سلسلہ نوے کی دہائی کے وسط تک جاری رہا۔۔اور انہوں نے بہت کچھ کھویا اور بہت کچھ کمایا۔۔باوجود اس کے کہ انہیں کوئی خاص سرکاری پلیٹ فارم نہیں ملا تھا۔۔
آج بھی اٹلی کے ساحلوں پر پاکستانی اپنے ملک سے لائے گئے ہاتھ سے بنےاشیا کو فرخت کرتے پائے جاتے ہیں۔۔ اگرچہ اس کام کا ایک خاص سیزن ہوتا ہے۔۔
امید کرتے ہیں اس فیلڈ میں حکومت پیشرفت کرے گی۔۔جس سے ایک بڑی انڈسٹری جنم لے سکتی ہے۔۔جو کہ ابھی چھوٹی سی ہے۔۔
