firefox's add-on adblocker is doing the trick now once I turned it on thankfully. Otherwise it was so bad, I was writing posts in a note pad and copying/pasting here to avoid the hassle...lolz..

I don’t see this issue on my iphone

On Android s9. Adds cover half of the screen. It appears as a pop up and remains on the bottom of the page. If we try to move the add, it scrolls the underneath page up and down but add remains at the bottom of the page.
