The two major escapes which happened during Genral Bajwa tenure are Ehsan Ullah Ehsan and Nawaz Sharif Escapes. Military is involved in both. Ehsan's escape is accepted publicly by DG ISPR. He said those involved were punished.
Nawaz escape is yet to be publicly accepted however now it is clear that Military orchestrated and executed the "London Escape Plan". DG ISI Faiz Hameed was specially appointed on 16 June 2019 for this plan. Nawaz escaped in November 2019. His predecessor Lieutenant General Syed Asim Munir Ahmed was suddenly removed from the position of DG ISI just after 7 months which is very unusual.
DG ISPR Babar Ifthikar said the other day, on the question of DG ISI Faiz Hameed transfer that these posts are long term and no transfer is being considered. So question arises then why Asim Munir was removed just after 7 months, answer is obvious, to plan and execute Nawaz escape to London.
Now according to Sharif Family sources they allege, they have paid Billions to some "Influential Characters" to secure deal, which involves both Maryam and Nawaz exit to London. If Influential Characters fails to send Maryam to London, they will expose them. This is the reason for not arresting Maryam even after multiple cases.
