Naguib Sawiris has expressed his will to invest in light of PM Khan’s vision of Naya Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Said that an Egyptian billionaire has offered to build 100,000 housing units in Pakistan.
In a tweet, he said Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris has offered to build 100,000 housing units in Pakistan to help realize Prime Minister Imran Khan’s dream of Naya Pakistan Housing Project.

According to Arab News, Naguib Sawiris has expressed his will to invest in 100,000 units of affordable housing in light of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of Naya Pakistan.

Ora Developers owned by Naguib Sawiris is already engaged in the construction of a multibillion-dollar housing scheme named ‘Eighteen’ which was launched in 2017 in Islamabad with local partners, Saif Group and Kohistan Builders.

Problem is we have too many self proclaimed scientists in our country who bring out calculators whenever any thing substantial is announced.

The progam was announced, then launched, then locations finalised, loan programs finalised, bids were received. Does none of this counts as action?

Normally you cannot announce projects on behalf of the country;
nor can you engage govt when you are not running the govt.
nor can you invite bidders and financiers if you are not running the govt.

Maybe you were expecting that millions of people holding bricks and cement in their hands, and waiting, and as soon as IK was announced PM they will start construction.
It would've been awesome if it happened like that. But thats not very plausible.

At least he is more realistic with his figure of 100,000....and for the 5 million houses he says it could take decades......while the PTI government wants to build 5,000,000 in 4,5 years....it means handing over 3000 houses EVERYDAY for the next 4,5 years.....4,5 saal k baad ye lollypop miljaegi PTI zombies ko "At least humne koshish to ki thi"
