EFFECTS OF THIRD PARTY BY Syed Shakil Abbas Naqvi

After long debates, deliberations, discussions, talk shows, views and many things on electronic media, public opinions, surveys, articles and political analysis in print media elections were held in Pakistan just like in third world countries.
Expectations were very high from Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP); peoples were excited and look deeply involved in the process; anxious to become part of the whole exercise in addition to this entire national, international media, agencies, organizations, biased and unbiased commentators were also there to monitor the whole electoral activity. Both political analysts and observers were sure repeatedly indicating towards a positive change pointing their fingers towards PTI; an emerging force slowly making space in the present country’s political sphere with PMLN, PPP and several other local and national parties in a fragile country’s situation.
Everybody in the country knows the role of hidden powers in this type of national activities elections are one of them that is why nobody showed their interest in the results and they are widely accepted in the masses. Governments always speak through their deliverance, performance but PTI cannot be seen anywhere since they came to power. The people of Pakistan are a victim of a shrinking economy, a lapse of valuable time in accountability, unbelievable increase in the cost of living, out of reach grocery items, energy crisis, the flight of capital, rupee-dollar parity, out of control bureaucracy, etc., etc.
Accountability is a very complex issue in the country present The Government got his mandate on this slogan but their approach towards the issue is so far negative although cases against top-ranked opposition leaders are registered and some of them are still behind the bar waiting for a verdict from the court of law. In fact process of accountability is going very slow taking much more time than expected; frustrating the general public who is waiting sees the return of their looted money in near future on the contrary JUI (F) is firm to lock down Islamabad to get rid of the present Government asking other opposition parties to strengthen their hands but both PPP and PMLN are reluctant to join the protest instead they need safe and strong shoulders to use their guns against the present regime.

On another side, Maulana was planning to take revenge of his defeat in general elections by sending present Government to home and in the process, he is confident to mobilize a sizeable number of Madarsa students to create law and order situation in Federal Capital and this time he was waiting for but Government does not look serious, ready or probably have no plans to defuse the current turmoil. PTI is not new to the present political system in Pakistan they struggled more than two decades being a part of it since they registered as a political identity in Election Commission Pakistan (ECP) and everything was in front of them in black & white.
In 2018 general elections people of Pakistan rejected both the parties and gave them a chance to do something different what the others were doing for a long time; the intention was clear because they were expecting new policies, plans, decisions, programs and on top of all a list of qualified experienced individuals who will cover important positions in the Government for a safe and sound take off. It was a dream and broken just in a year when they fail to implement even on a single plan, no new or amended policy was announced, economic condition has gone out of their control, the shortfall in revenue collection by FBR, State Bank looks helpless to control dollar against local currency i.e. rupee. In general, they are neither prepared nor ready to identify problems and their solutions.
