She fired at least two shots at them, missing them, as the interpreter who was seated closest to her lunged at her and pushed the rifle. Although there were Inconsistencies in the testimonies and lack of forensic evidence collected at the crime scene, officers still testified to the incident. There were 6 people present or 10 people present at the crime scene, barrel of the gun was 1 meter away or 2 meter from the curtain cant let someone free. The fact still stayed that people were there and barrel was used to shoot according to the testimonies.
Its also true that no forensic evidence was collect or giving in the court and all evidence was eye witness testimonies and circumstantial in nature but enough to convict her. He claimed Aafia Siddiquis family had approached the Taliban network through a Jirga of notables, seeking their assistance to put pressure on the US to provide her justice.
