Original judgement was given by an arbitrator, not through regular judicial court.
One of the biggest disadvantage of Arbitration process is the difficulty in challenging the ruling of the ArbiTraitor!!!
There are only handful of rare cases where challenges were successful and those were on the qualification of the arbitrator rather than the judgement itself.

Broadsheet charged for identifying after 2000, while it's existence was known before 2000!!!
But their contract with Pak came into existence during Musharraf‘a era. But I’m not getting why did NAB or govt agreed to pay Broadsheet 20% when a property is identified not when looted wealth has been realised. Apparently payments were being made to them during Musharraf then Zardari then Nawaz and then IK.
Something is very fishy about it here.

Issue is not with the payment but with the original contract.
Once the verdict is awarded in their favor in an arbitration court, then there is no recourse for the subsequent governments but to pay the penalty.
Else they will go after your assets like the PIA plane in Malaysia that will create an embarrassing situation for the country.
That is one of the flaws of Arbitration system, i.e, difficult to challenge the final verdict.

Ok but I am referring to payments that were made before Arbitration court ruling in 2016.

Yes correct and interestingly that agreement was signed by Pak army generals which was then honoured in Musharraf era, Zardari and NS as well. Agreement doesn’t sound right and generals who had signed this contract should be held accountable.
